Thoughts/Questions/Observations after Pre Season Wk.1

Everyone gets a pass on game #1. Let's see how they clean it up this Friday on game #2.

Heck, I'll even give Wilcox another chance, though during the game I said he needs to be gone.
As Jason says, they will take a look at the "tape" and go from there.

So now we will see if any player learned from that. If we see the same stuff, then yes, time to get out the CZ scissors. Though they are not the official roster trimming scissors...

I just can't give Wilcox a pass. He stinks. LOL.

 

[Verdict]

Swaim has been a favorite target of every QB that has thrown with him in the game so far this year. When multiple QBs trust him that speaks to me. He dropped those balls but Dak kept going to him. Now of course Romo needs to trust him and he needs to get PT but for now he is an intriguing prospect to me.

We gave up two picks to trade up and get Swaim on draft day last year, so they were obviously pretty high on him at the time. So far that hasn't shown to be justified, but it is still early, so I am willing to be patient and see what he does this year. Hopefully, his production going forward validates the draft capital spent on acquiring him.

Doesn't stink as much as Frazier. May need to put Donte Whitner on speed dial just in case.
