NOT a great game - or even a good one - from Roy and Henry;

Johnson may have - should(?) - lost his starting job;

Jones may have - should(?) - lost his starting job;

None of the DB's look comfortable playing underneath zones;

Henry is the key to the D's dominance - despite #1;

Ware only has 1 pass-rush move and needs some good coaching to be a dominant rusher;

Ware must work on keeping his outside leverage;

Tucker/Pettiti need to play on their own - for the most part - for the rest of the year;

Burnett is coming around;

Spears is coming around;

Canty could be the steal of the draft;

The Cowboys may have the most ineffective blitz package of any team in the league;

The front-3 or 4 can get a decent push, but nothing resembling a real pass rush;

This offense could benefit from the slant route;

McBrair is a big weapon on D;

The draw plays worked to perfection and should help open-up the passing game;

Bledsoe needs to continue to shuffle in the pocket to help the OT's and keep plays alive;

The Cowboys need to gameplan with urgency the rest of the year.

Good analysis, I agree completely with you on the slant play, Key is obviously not scared to go over the middle, he would be great on a 2-3 slant plays a game.

I saw Drew look for the slant a couple of times. He held the ball and then looked at the rest of his reads. Maybe Key wasn't gettting inside the DB. I like the slant and it should be run by Dallas. Drew has the arm for it and Key and Witten should be able to run it effectively.
