From a guy Hail26...

I work in a nightclub in Las Vegas and I got a chance to meet and talk to Sean Salisbury (of ESPN) last night. After throwing back numerous shots of Southern Comfort and Lime, we talked about the Skins. Long story short, He says Brunell is terrible and one of the worst QB's in the league. And the only reason Jason Campbell doesnt play is because he is not smart and does not understand the playbook. He also says Sean Taylor is one of the meanest SOB's in the NFL. He was a nice guy and got SUPER hammered.

Not much news around here, so I thought I would post. Not that I would trust anything that comes out of SS's mouth. Just thought it was pretty funny how hammered SS gets and how word is that the future of Commanders offense is not too swift. Probably a good reason he isn't ready to take MBs place. What did they give up a first and second for him?:lmao:

Salisbury gets super hammered in Chicago where he actually has a daily radio show, I believe this to be 100% credible.

I watched Campbell for 4 years at Auburn.

His first 3 years he was a major disappointment. At one point, in his 2nd or 3rd year he was sitting the bench and the Auburn fans were crying for him to play. Tubberville was quoted in the newspapers saying that Auburn "would have to run a High school offense if Campbell was the starter". I read the quote with my own eyes. I was shocked a College HC would be so blunt.

His Sr. year. Al Borges came in and simplified everything for Campbell and relied on Auburn's great running backs and let Campbell play off that. The result was a good year for him and Auburn.

I suspected when he was drafted that he would have a difficult transition to the NFL.

yep...I actually saw him very much like a certain guy from Georgia. He might make a transition in a few years but it is not a sure thing for this kid.

And to think they wasted one of their precious few draft pickjs they actually make on him. As soon as I said 'WHO' at 25 or whatever it was, I was like. Man, go Danny go. Dig that hole a little deeper. :lmao2:

Gotta love it when your rivals have no personnel IQ in the whole front office. Their drafting is horrible, Their trades are really suspect. They give draft picks away like candy. Oh man, I am so gald I am not a skins fan. I would rather suffer through the old bengals or browns or falcons seasons before being a skins fan. :lmao:

One of? They gave up more than 1 Draft pick to move and get him.

It never ceases to amaze me how arrogantly cocky Sean Salisbury can be. He was one of the worst quarterbacks to ever grace the NFL, but he enjoys rating the abilities of other quarterbacks. Of course, he gets paid for his 'unique' perspective, but my only question for him is...

..."How the hell does HE know what a 'good quarterback' is"?

The guy who posted it stated that SS gets pretty hammered every time he does his show. It is just funny how all the Deadskins are in denial over why the guy they drafted two years ago still can't step up. Something has to be up.

I've asked myself the same thing for years. I guess his definition of "good" is the polar opposite of himself.

He may not know what a good quarterback is, but you've got to think that he is the foremost authority on bad quarterbacks.

There's a thread on that site bi-weekly that goes "I just got back from______, and I met (insert famous person with football connections). He told me (something I already believe that might ruffle some feathers). He also told me (something else I believe, and everyone else will love)."

Then, someone calls BS.

Then, the thread originator says "I don't care if you believe me or not. This is what happened. I just thought it would be nice to share. Maybe I won't in the future."

I wonder how close I came.

Oh.....and I call BS.

I just got back from Moscow and I met Tom Landry and he got super smashed and we started talking QBs and he said that Bledsoe pats the ball and holds it too long and that the only reason Romo isn't starting is because Parcells hasn't started him and IF YOU DON'T BELIEVE ME WHATEVER DUDE MAYBE NEXT TIME IT HAPPENS I JUST WON'T POST IT.

Think of it this way-- if anybody should be able to recognize a crappy quarterback, Salisbury is that guy... that truly is his area of expertise...

Hey, did I ever tell you guys about the time I picked up Salma Hayek in a bar??

Worst mistake of my life, now I can get her to give me a moment's peace... it's startin' to get in the way of my longterm relationship with the entire Dallas Cowboys cheerleader squad (the 2000 squad)...

I don't care if you believe me or not. This is what happened. I just thought it would be nice to share. Maybe I won't in the future.
