Our history of drafting QB's the past 25 years is scant to say the least. Since 1990, here's the number of QB's selected per team.
Arizona/Phoenix - 10

For whatever reason, our FO just doesn't put a premium on drafting QB's not only high, but at all; no one else in the league is even close to our number. This isn't indicative of scouting regimes and coaches as they come and go, but Jerry himself as he's the lone constant.
I'm sure there's counterarguments to be made that we shouldn't waste a pick on a position where the starter is entrenched (Aikman, Romo). I'm sure a case could be made that the FO deemed guys like Henson, Hutchinson, etc. as cheap investments with considerable talent that could have been high picks had they not gone the baseball route.
The end result is we're still chasing SB's and success while other teams build bigger trophy cases.
