Throw the ball down the field!

Excuses. Dak had plenty of time to throw. Replays exposed how he would routinely bail from the pocket as a receiver was breaking wide open on deep slants and crossing patterns. This Dak doesn’t have protection is such a weak and pathetic excuse for top paid QB. You’re just making the argument that he can’t elevate his team.

I am sorry but that actual game tape did not show plenty of time to throw. It showed a pocket constantly collapsing with multiple missed blocks. That is what the game tape showed. The lack of good pass blocking and the nonexistent run blocking is probably why they have to look at getting at least 2 new starters in the offseason because it is just not good enough.

Whatever helps you sleep at night princess. Dak is no more pressured than any other QB in the league. He just flat out sucks. I watched the replays. And on several of them it was evident that Dak was bailing early just as a receiver was breaking open down field. Why not use that extra second to process that read and make the throw instead of getting wide eyed like a deer in traffic and taking off? He has no pocket awareness.

arizona made way too many plays at the line of scrimmage.
batted balls.
i was surprised they didnt counter with rolling Dak out.
they also abandoned the run too early and too often in my opinion.
its a committment.
those 2 and 3yd gainers in the first half become 4 and 5yd gainers in the 2nd.
it takes a toll on their defense.
but you have to committ to it.
regardless of effectiveness.
you gotta keep trying.
we're better...balanced.

Look at this clown finally admitting Dak sucks…

How does it feel being wrong all these years?

I sleep just fine at night kiddo without having to lie about what tape says.

The numbers say you are wrong so you are no longer arguing with me but arguing with reality. Do not worry though kiddo I am sure if you you try really really hard you can change reality so that Dak is not the most blitzed QB in the NFL or the run blocking is acceptable. I am not one to tell kids to give up on their dreams so if you keep dreaming maybe you can change reality itself.

How does it feel holding petty grudges against online strangers with a different perspective on the QB? I feel sad for you. I turned on Dak like I did Romo. I give each QB the benefit of the doubt until it’s self evident they’re not the guy. I do not regret supporting Dak through out the years. He earned it, but couldn’t retain it.

yes its the OL and the offense isn't allowing those throws either that not how they play us.

Offensive like is why the offense has been inconsistent since the bye..its just getting far too many penalties and blown assignments..they cant run or pass block consistent enough for the offense to run. Most are blaming dak or zeke or ac etc etc

100% the main issue is the OL. Without them we won't go far in the playoffs..

Need throw deep ball MINIMUM of 4-5 times a game. I’m talking 35-40 yard passes. I don’t care if receiver covered - get 1/1 matchup and launch it. Either Moore/coaches too stupid to understand this or dak scared and won’t throw but needs be MANDATORY. Worse case intercepted like punt. Maybe you get couple pi calls. Also NO MORE WR screens!!!!!! We can’t execute and block well enough.
I agree with you on this....the deep ball softens the box and opens up the running game. That threat needs to be there, at least once or twice a half. Dak used to be very effective with deep throws.....leads me to believe that he can't get much push off of his leg.

Dak won’t do it. At this point is it even fair to call him an NFL QB if he can’t/won’t execute standard passes?

His calf injury is clearly still affecting his throwing motion

I’m thinking the exact opposite. It’s clear that teams are taking away the deep ball. We need to start killing teams by a thousand cuts and stop trying to force deep balls.

You need a good QB to throw deep
actually what he means is to have threat of the deep throw. when you don't, the defense bunches up, the DL pins their ears and attacks and the passing game fails.....you have to attack all 9 pass defense areas and when you are not going deep, you are not attacking 1/3 of the field.... the defense wasn't afraid of us going deep yesterday. we played into their hands.

btw, Dak is one of the better deep throwers in the league..... so I blame Dak when he is bad, in areas he is bad. but so far he has been pretty good in that area....

You need a good QB to throw deep

Well, given Dak's longest pass of the season came in game 10 vs the Raiders and here is is longest throw breakdowns and games:

Longest Throw Range

19-29 Yards 4 Games

30-39 Yards 5 Games

40-49 Yards 5 Games

50+ Yards 1 Game

By way of comparison, and using a QB that so many like to bring up to show how 'great' Dak is playing while also saying this QB sucks, Carson Wentz's distance stats this this:

19-29 Yards 5 Games

30-39 Yards 4 Games

40-49 Yards 3 Games

50+ Yards 4 Games

So it would seem Wentz is more of a deep threat passer than Dak, in spite of so many saying he sucks so what does that say about Dak when it comes to being a deep passing threat?

I’m not so sure his shoulder isn’t still messed up. He won’t go deep anymore. He looks like Drew Brees

Hold the ball, hold the ball, scramble a bit, throw the ball 2 yards forward or sideways.....rinse and repeat.
Follow up with press conference talking about confidence, believing in the team and having to get better.

Problem with that is the Cowboys are heavily penalized with holds and so on to be able to consistently kill teams by a thousand cuts.

....and last week's threads/posts were,

"We need to run more!"

All the QBs take some shots earlier in the game to test the Ds, yet our QB ( or offensive think tank ) does the WR screens … go figure
