Not a wise business decision by Martin. Doesn't need to get hurt in a camp dust-up without a new contract.

Not a wise decision by Crawford either:

1) You won't make any points with management if their all-pro guard gets hurt in a fight with you and,

2) Martin's already destroyed your best defensive player in practice a couple of years ago, so he's shown he has the ability to do so.... without even trying.

What's it going to be then, eh?

Honestly, I am still a little amazed at the status Tyrone Crawford has on this football team.

The Sirius NFL camp rounds were in Oxnard today.

You have the usual fluff pieces, interviewing all the key figures.

Prescott and Witten first. Then Charlton. Frederick and Martin came after Crawford was sandwiched in between.

They introduce Crawford like he is some distinguished player that has a couple of Pro Bowls in his past.

"Here he is, one of the leaders of the Dallas Cowboys defense, Tyrone Crawford. Jim Miller, Pat Kirwan, how you doing today?"

I have no idea what he has on the organization. I guess his contract determines his status, because it certainly is not on the field play.

we seem to always have someone like that on the roster. Never does much but always seems to be talked about or with.

And it usually is about their bloated contract.

It certainly is in this case.

But then you had Garrett breathlessly talking about his best players, he mentioned Crawford.

My opinion: this OL is reallly making the DL look bad and the frustration is boiling over. These guys are working hard to make the roster and earn starting jobs and this Oline makes them look like JAGS.
Mostly because they are JAGS.

Maybe because he was our best DL last year

Talk about media attention. This is lame "news".

To top it off, Jordan Lewis came back to practice with a bag full of pillows to pass out to the entire team. Then Marinelli started barking "next time turn off the damn lights" and everyone went into fighting frenzy with the pillows.
