Thursday Night Eagles-Giants game

Barkley isn't getting blocking. He was getting hit within a nanosecond of getting the handoff. Their O line suddenly looks bad and Hurts looks like he is on Prozak. .
True. That much hyped line looks mediocre at best in run blocking. Still good pass blocking.

Remember Ghost Busters when the sewers made the city moody? I forget the details. That kinda makes me think of both NY teams and Philly. When you said Moody that was perfect way to describe it. This looks like that 2023 team like you said above. A real Jekyll and Hyde. Nothing in between. They just seem disinterested, as if in a trance. Siriani looks like he's gassy or something. He looks off. I see no passion. I wonder what's going on in that front office right now.
They still have a lot of good players. But it shows what happens when your top guys get hurt. Their defense is missing a few guys and it showed. I still think they can put it together. It would not be the first time a Super Bowl winning team looked flat the next year.

The Eagles seem to be a moody team. I have no idea what it is but like the year they were 10-1 then soiled the bed the rest of the way.

As for Dart, I have no idea how good he will be but I think if he keep running the way he does his career won't be long.
There was a whole podcast series about how the team wasn't getting along and how they weren't having fun despite their record. Then they imploded. The way AJ Brown is going on it looks like history is ready to repeat itself.

Home wins Chargers (3-0), Eagles (4-1)

Road loss Saints (0-4)

NFL is strange
It’s all about the injuries. The Giants beat two injured teams at home. That is what makes last week’s Cowboys win so impressive. The Eagles won the Superbowl last season because of the massive injuries that the Lions had on their defense.

Funny I didn't see your post and just said this too. Yeah, something is way off.
Philly is paying the price of Roseman's aggressive team management. They've won a couple Superbowls but have been hemorrhaging talent that they can't pay, so this is not the same team that won it all last year and it's not surprising. This is how NFL parity is designed to work. It feels like something else is going on in Philly too though. I don't know if it's boredom or arrogance or what, but last night the Eagles players looked disinterested to me. I really like Herbstreit but it was hilarious listening to him whine the whole game about the best OL in the universe, coached by the best OL guru in the universe, missing A starter.

Where are the comments about taking 10 years to find a QB when the Giants got one with the 25th pick?

You don't have to wander the desert, you simply need to be better at evaluating talent & take a few chances.

Exactly, I think Maxx Crosby and/or Bradley Chubb would be good targets, and I don't think either would cost more than a 3rd. I say try it. We'd get a great pass rusher to pair with Houston, and a monster LB. They can help our secondary by making the QB have less time. Worked pretty well last time we traded with the Raiders (Cooper).
My brother in Christ. I want whatever weed you are smoking that lets you believe we can get Crosby for a 3rd. The raiders not accepting that lol

That too is a ruse, the refs seem to let them get away with some very obvious holding violations.
Man that is true. It's blatant. Certain teams seem to get all the home cooking, even if on the road. Especially PHILLY. The announcers almost seem to ignore it. They turn double down or gaslight the viewing audience with "one of the best lines in football. ". Over and over. They are like WWE announcers, in order to steer things in a desired direction. I feel like we are being coached by the announcers in order to make us think the refs are fair and honest. Nothing to see here mentality..or sit down and " are you not entertained?" It's cringy how they ignore the bad calls or no calls.

I like Dart. I always thought he was the best QB in this years draft. He's special. Better Pro than college player. The only issue with him will be can he learn how to slide. He's one hit away from getting his brain scrambled.

I thought so too. I think he really grew his last couple years at Ole Miss and you're seeing that trajectory continuing.

Yes, he is taking some hits that will break him in short order. Gotta learn to only put yourself in harms way when it's critical situation.
