Well said, DEZ just wants to win and if it's not about winning it doesn't matter. I like that and hope the rest of the team picks that attitude up.

Yep. I think football - sports in general - is just as mental as it is physical. And you don't have to have an IQ of 150. You just have to be able to get over things very quickly. We see kickers lose their confidence after a few misses. We see QBs lose their confidence after a few INTs. WRs after a few drops. You have to have thick skin. And it's not just on the field. You get into a fight with a teammate in the heat of the moment, and you get over it and make up. A teammate says something personal and you get over it. I want guys with that kind of mentality.

DEZ is so into the game and so into winning, that little things don't matter and what's why he has gotten such fanfare about his sideline rants. It just show he cares and winning matters.

I have a feeling this guy is nothing more than a ticking time bomb.

Randle will be a stud this year. Very telling if true that Murray wanted him gone. He was breathing down his neck almost.

More negative reporting about Demarco Murray. Each story created just makes people look even more insecure about what we have to replace him.

The part of the "story" I find concerning is that we are now counting on a player to replace Demarco who our team, coaches and fans consider cutting for petty theft.

Why does every feel good story about Randle have to attempt to cut down Murray?

Not sure it's a negative. There may be more behind the scenes with Randle than just this incident. Murray was a no-nonsense dude. It might just be how her have handled it, and that's ok.

I think this all came to ahead after the blowup with Dez when the video from the police surfaced. Not right after the arrest.

A story from a guy on local sport talk radio in Dallas:

After Randle got arrested last year for stealing underwear, Garrett took a poll of team leaders to get their input on keeping or cutting him.

DeMarco was the player that definitely voted to cut Randle.

They think that Romo and Dez voted to keep him.

Not certain about Witten.

If this is true....my,my, my.

The team and coaches closed ranks...that is now a closed issue of lockerroom ethics.

As to Murray, in the last 20 years, how many running backs in the number of carries that Murray had last season, even came back with even another 1,000 yard season. Try Zero.

And Murray has already had a strong injury history while playing.

As to underwear theft...or crusty boxers, just let it go. He can afford the bill, even if he has to return to the store to pay it. Oh, and nickers in a knot are a completely different world...:)

I don't think DeMarco was threatened by Randle. I think that he seemed to be the most "serious" and disciplined of the leaders. Like, he struck me as a military type, or maybe it stemmed from his martial arts training. Very little patience with knucklehead types.

Its not hard to put together. Other than Randle no running back on the roster comes close to allowing the Cowboys to let Murray walk. If Randle is gone Murray gets paid. Randle still on the team and the Cowboys think they can get equal production by committee with a home run threat also at rb then you let Murray walk at his age and wear and tear. And thats what happened
