winners and losers on wade from steve dennis; i really dont agree with that the way steve dennis kept after wade, but the way he started it was ok, wade could do a better job if he would say we know that these past decembers were bad and were doing things to fix or correct that. but wade doesnt do that (thats the problem wade doesnt acknowledge that) and it wont probably go away till wade addresses that or says something in regards to that, because the cowboys still have the same coaches on offense and defense since 2007 except for coach joe d.

steve has a big booming voice, but i think he was trying to get a answer, wade keeps calling his team winners in relation to wade having a winning season from september to november, that has nothing to do with the problemes the team has now with winning earlier, etc

talked about tiger woods story,

talked about heisman trophy winners in past, etc, i voted geihart, suh then ingram

mccoy didnt come in top 4 there either, and suh came in top

usually we know a week before the heisman but now its wide open

WHAT PAST DECEMBERS?

In '07 we lost 10-6 to a Philly team that had to win to stay in the playoff hunt. We pulled our starters halfway through the Commanders game. Won the two other games.

In '08 we lost games to Baltimore and Pittsburgh, both of whom I'm convinced were just BETTER than us. Then we collapsed in the last game against the Eagles, which sucked. A lot. Should be more accountability for that.

What the hell does Wade do to win games in December vs. any other month? A game in Sept. is the same as a game in Dec. You don't "fix" anything. Just win. Period.

Since Jerry Jones hired him in 2007, Phillips has more wins than any head coach other than New England's Bill Belichick, but his 30-14 regular-season record with the Cowboys is overshadowed by the team's lack of late-season success. The Cowboys are 3-6 in December and 0-1 in the playoffs under Phillips.

Which is why his job is on the line however Wade and this team can't worry about 2007 or 2008 when they have 2009 staring them in the face. The media wants to talk about what Dallas can't change which is the past all the Cowboys can do is deal with the here and now.

thats true, each season is different, but you have to learn from your past mistakes, why you didnt win, etc. Then, you add to that, face it, correct it and move on.

Till a person faces his past failures, and why he will continue to commit them.

Just saying things are ok and will get better, doesnt do anything but like stick your head in the sand.

Yes, with 1 meaningless loss against the Commanders when they pulled the starters and one against the super bowl champion on a last-second play, and one against Baltimore which I'm pretty sure was just better than us anyway, and two against the Eagles, who may have been better than us.

For a "collapse" you need to actually lose against teams that are worse than you.

Phillips' "december record" is nothing more than the schedule makers giving us all our hard games at the end of the schedule. Congrats to the schedule makers, I guess.

Let me ask you this then, on the last 2 big plays that the ravens ran against us for 70 plus yards. They ran the same exact run twice. I can understand you doing that to me the first time because i wasnt prepared, but shame on me for letting you do it to me the 2nd time.

Well they continue to work that is what matters, you seem to think what Wade tells the media is what counts and it doesn't. This is not the same team as last year. At this time last season Procter was the starting gaurd, the secondary consisted of Hamlin and a mixture of other guys, the LB core included Zack Thomas while this season Brooking has taken that role, Austin was on the bench and the only healthy back was Choice. Talking to them about dec past especially when people throw out the 13 year stuff is beyond rediculas since some of these guys were in Jr. High School 13 years ago. People are taking their own frustration and placing them on this team. For the Cowboys and this staff all they need to worry about is the here and now with these players not players past or season past.

The Cowboys do that on a weekly basis.

really?
would you call not fixing the run blitz defense during training camp? how about after the giant game we had to fix the pass defense

how about the kicking situation we have now?

how about the demotion of crayton and picking up rossum, Joe D pushed that issue, while was saying crayton is ok, dont worry

how about the not playing ogletree wade thought, but jerry jones said we need to get him on the field, then we saw ogletree on the field

these are things im pointing to, wade has a history as head coach of waiting to fix things; remember the disaster we had with bruce read, and wade assigned 4 asst coaches to help wade, come on now, really

then either wade is forced into things like firing brian stewart, by jerry jones and taking over the defense, but what did wade say, everything is ok, dont worry

really?

Are you including the playoff loss in that 3-6 December total, because I can only see where he is 2-2 in 2007 and 1-3 in 2008, which is 3-5, plus one playoff loss. Just curious...

Just for ****s and giggles I looked up how many wins NYG has in December the last two years... 4-5. They must be perennial Superbowl contenders... cause you know like Coughlin is a big bad *** and all.
