Yes Cleveland is that bad. The more picks the better for them . They need a QB and also you see Garrett one player vs getting 7. Get the 7 is what I would do.
You're reaching for players that can be had later in the draft. I'm not saying the players you selected aren't going to be good, I'm just saying that you're not getting the best value.
I realize they have ton of cap space, but I can't imagine any team investing so much money to their rookie pool.
DE don't need to have a very fast 40 time to get to the qb. It is better to have 10-20 yd split and production in college. Barrett's production was better than most DE in this draft and he did it in one of the best conferences. I will take that any day.
Yes Jethro Franklin at Fresno State from back in the day had 21 sacks his senior year. He didn't have any speed also running a 5.0 forty. Great college player but not a NFL player, .The NFL game is fast,everyone is fast. Ok Derek Barnett with his 4.9 speed vs the Saints left tackle Terron Armstead who runs a 4.69 forty. So do you think Barnett is going to fly by him? How about Charles Harris with his 4.8 speed???
