If one question was sealed to be opened in 2020 and asked among all NFL fans, which would shed the most negitive light? The O.J. Simpson case or the Michael Vick case?

I think Jimmy Hoffa and JFK would still be at the top of the list...

Will Fred Goldman still be alive by then to "demand MORE justice"? Personally, I'm getting sick of seeing his face on TV too.

Aside from that, likely the OJ case. Vick will be nothing more than a forgotten memory, thankfully.

OJ case. Jury didn't find him guilty but the American people did.

It depends on where you open it...if it is at a PETA meeting then Vick wins... anywhere with Sane people O.J. wins.

Did..? Did you just compare the lone defendant in The Trial of the 20th Century to this year's dogfighting plea bargainer?

Let me put it this way. Forget about imaginary time capsules. In 2094, one hundred years after the murders of Nicole Brown Simpson and Ronald Goldman, Simpson will still be the subject of history lessons in high schools and universities throughout this country. On the other hand, Vick will probably be less than a footnote to be found in any history book. That is, IF history books will even be used decades from now.

"Michael Vick". Really.

I know it's laughable in a human sense but if it were asked in a literal sense based only on response in creditability and role model prespective. Who would shed the most negitive light? Rember O.J. was never charged and Mike will probably serve some time.

My only suggestion is do a poll. I already know the answer, but the results may interest you.

You'd be pretty hard pressed to find anyone who actually believes that O.J. didn't do it. I'm sure there are a few out there but I certainly don't know any of them.

What would Deion say? Both....

In the year 2020 they will still be talking about Romo fumbling the snap...! Watch and see! And this is after he wins at least one SuperBowl...watch and see!

I've got only two things to say before exiting this thread.

1. I thought Simpson was guilty the very moment the story broke.

2. That's all I've got to say.

I'm out. ;)

As respectfully as possible I must say it would be outrageous to compare the slaughter of two human beings with the mistreatment and extermination of some dogs.

That is not to make light of inhumane animal treatment but let us put things in perspective. people shall always trump livestock and pets in importance and value and rightfully so.

Look ,I agree and I know the depth of the insanity here, but at the end of the day. O.J. is walking the streets and telling Mike not to drop the soap IMO. If Mike is charged no matter what we think as humans it's worst than never going to jail.:bang2:

I'd say OJ because two human were murdered.

Considering that the OJ Trial was dubbed "Trial/Crime of the Century".... I think that seals it. Humans vs dogs... really not close though...

Perhaps, but according to the U.S. Census Bureau's Statistical Abstract of the United States, the numbers were 260 million for 1994 (link) and 263 million for 1995 (link). ;) Still, in the grand scheme of things, what do those guys know ANYway? :D
