Fully healthy and with hardy and Romac this is a dangerous team. Take them all out and this is an average team. Just that simple

The D ws awful. No question.

But if we want to be realistic.......... this team is not winning a single game with Weeden. Not a one. That's just reality.

I tried to lie to myself an convince myself that Weeden could drive the bus ok and keep us afloat till Romo comes back.

The truth is that the season will probably be over by the time Romo comes back, because we will be like 3-6 at that point. What really sucks is that at full strength, this is probably a 13-3 team but will barely win 5 or 6 games on the season because of injuries.

He did drive the bus. That is exactly what he did, but the defense let him down. 28 points at home is a win in the NFL 90% of the time.

Look, we have a chance at winning next week. Rob Ryan's defense in New Orleans SUCKS. Drew Brees might actually be better for us if his shoulder isn't 100% because McCown looked pretty good today. If we can manage to play like we did in the 1st quarter, we can beat the Saints.

McCown looked no better than Weeden IMO, probably a little worse.

Outside of Romo, we're desperately in more need of Hardy and Gregory than we are Dez or McClain. We have enough of an offense (70% guesstimation), but if we don't get that pass rush going, that we know we have, then the next Giants game is a loss, as well...and that's a costly, costly loss. New England and Seattle are penciled in as losses, but for all of the other teams, we need a catalyst in shutting down opposing team's offenses. Period. *****backflips off soap box...judges all raise 9.5s"****

I just looked at McCown's statistics. You're right...I see he really dropped off in the 2nd half too. I had only seen his numbers from the first half and they were pretty impressive at the time.

Scoring 28 pts in the 1st half means squat when that same offense keeps the ball for less than 10 minutes in the 2nd...especially when the other team has a pro bowl caliber qb and wr.

Did you see the way Jack Crawford was getting bullied on the line today? Mincey would've gotten push which would've helped every other guy on the line. Offensively they did enough to win but the skeleton crew defense eventually broke down.

You misunderstood my comment. What I meant was, Mincey is a good player, but of all the players we were missing on our defensive line, he would be the 3rd, at best, I would have cited.

We definitely missed Mincey, don't get me wrong.

Is predicting a 3-13 finish realistic or have I gone too far?
