With the Hardy suspension reduced by more than half, the last significant roster change is done. I don't see that dream RB coming down the aisle. With that and the football season directly ahead of us in 3 weeks, it's time to guess the Cowboys record next year.

vs NYG - win
@ PHI - win
vs ATL - win
@ NO - win
vs NE - win
@ NYG - win
vs SEA - loss
vs PHI - loss
@ TB - win
@ MIA - loss
vs CAR - win
@ WAS - win
@ GB - loss
vs NYJ - win
@ BUF - win
vs WAS - win

12-4 and the usual suspects panic after that MIA game.

Seriously...

A typical fluky loss against the Commanders. Lose to Miami with back to back trips to Florida and battling against a tough Miami squad. But they win the rest of the division games. Signature win is a dominating performance against Seattle at home. They get a bye this year.

I've always like 13-3 ;-)

I don't think I agree with the losses.

We won't sweep division I don't think.

Trade a few of your losses with the division opponents.

13-3. This schedule was really hard to predict.

I could actually see us going 14-2, but we're going to have to win every game we're favored. I think we end up with a fluky loss to NE that puts us on the map this season. We beat up Seattle pretty bad at home, they're not a very good away team. We sweep the division, lose at Lambeau in a close one, and lose in an ugly game in a late December matchup against the Bills.

16-0

The only time of the year I feel like I can make a meaningful predictions is the week before the season starts. Once the preseason has played out, I usually have a good handle on how good the team will be barring a catastrophic injury.

Nonetheless, my prediction formula is always:

Total Wins = 16 - previous losses

That results in 16-0 to start the season. If they lose week 1, then it becomes 16 - 1 = 15; therefore, my week 2 prediction would be 15 Total Regular Season Wins. By the end of the season my magic formula is always correct within 1 game.

11-5 but I will take that any season.

the defense will struggle all year; good thing our offense can take up the slack.

I CANNOT WAIT FOR TC, PRESEASON AND THEN THE REAL THING!!! SOMEONE GIFT ME A SEDATIVE OR A 7.5 BEER!

I said 11-5 a few days ago. With Hardy news I'll up it to 12-4. Same record as last year. We will be better then last year but have a more difficult schedule then last year

I'm going 11-5. I think we've improved in all areas except RB & Special Teams. So for that reason, I'm being conservative and taking us down a win from last season since our running game was such a big reason for our success.

You guys watch the tape.

Thank you for doing it and writing it up.

I can't keep from watching the ball. Maybe a second lobotomy would help me pay attention.

These 13-3s (and especially those better)remind of the 4-12 and 5-11 predictions from last year, except that I'd love to it happen .

Given the layout and quality of the schedule, 13-3 or better seems a bit out there. One can hope though.
11-5 followed by a deep playoff run (even all the way!) would work fine, IMO.

Is much prefer to pick the record after the preseason though.

I noticed that 1-3 slide. Should I consider that strategically placed? :)
