Time to replace Roy Williams

On passing downs...enough is enough - the man is simply a pathetic football player when the ball is in the air.

It's time to do what Jimmy did with Bill Bates - move him to the middle in the Nickle and Dime - Stick Roy right in the middle to watch draw and short stuff.

Incredible that the 2 players we gave big money extensions to - that were suppossed to be more than building blocks - but rather leaders of the team - Witten and Roy , both have been rotten - flat out rotten. Both have hurt this club badly.

I would say Witten has sulked as well since not getting the Rock - he was BRUTAL in that Giants game - his blocking was disgraceful -the fact that he got run over on a Flea Flicker was flat out heartless.

And Roy's New Name is Elvis ..it would be Toast but Elvis Patterson already took it - so we'll call him Elvis.

Maybe a better idea is to use him as a blitzer or as short zone coverage. Use your corners to lock down the outside, and in 3 wide sets use glenn. He has to cover someone man v man sometime, you just have to hope that he has some pride and wants to be a better cover guy.

I've been saying this for 2 years... Move Roy to LB... He has the size and ability and it would only serve us in the long haul... We can go out and get the best Safety or use the draft in the offseason...
