I am about as anti-Garrett as can be, have been from his days as OC and especially after he became HC.
But, what do people really want from these press conferences? Do they want to see the coach bow down and apologize like shamed corporate heads in Japan? Every losing HC's press conference is pretty much the same these days. They all say the same old crap. "All three phases...played a great team...turnovers...didn't make plays...have to look at the film... The HC isn't going to call out a player or tell you anything about a certain play or throw someone under the bus.
On rare occasion, you got the Dennis Green or Mike Singletary meltdown and see some heart-felt emotion. "Playoffs?!" Not these days, not anymore. The coaches aren't making a fool of themselves on national TV. I guess the NFL makes money off of people watching the HCs standing in front of some corporate logo blabbering about nothing.
That "performance" deserved a Jim Mora meltdown.
