They should say exactly this.

Closer to the draft, they might get a little more realistic. Especially if they grade Stanley anywhere close to Tunsil.

If they trade that pick and lose out on Tunsil they are going to regret it. They have there QB, now they need to protect him.

We say " Dont get cute" with drafting QB. To a lesser extent I think the same applies to LTs

The only possible blockbuster trade scenario for Tenn is Mariota to SF. I imagine Chip Kelly is doing everything he can to make a trade for Mariota. He couldn't make it happen in Philly but he just might be able to pull it off.

Say Chip offers SFs 1st round and 2nd round this year, a 2nd round pick in 2017, and Kaepernick or LB Bowman. Or something. I don't know what it would take for SF to pry Mariota away. But, if I were Tenn I would be asking Chip what it is worth to him. I think Mariota's best chance for success is with Chip in SF. I don't think Mariota will do much in Tenn.

I don't blame them. Reports were that Kelly offered 2 1st, 3rd, any defensive player on the Eagles roster, and any qb that the Eagles have to move up last year. I would be greedy too and hope we are if someone wants to trade.

I've thought that Dallas would likely have to build a package around Lael Collins to move up to number 1. Although I still think it might not be a bad idea - if you could take essentially a freebie signing and turn it into a franchise quarterback.

I vote not breaking up the strength of our team for a lottery ticket. Take a qb at 4 if you want one, but please don't sell the farm to trade up.

Wanting and getting are two different things . Good luck with the Titans "wants".

Of course. This isn't news. It's negotiating 101. You start high.

I'd do it in a second for the franchise QB. This is a team that makes a living wasting draft picks on bums. If we just came out of this draft with the next QB it'd be one of their best draft classes of the Jerry era.

Will I be okay with the team drafting a bust? No. But that goes with any position. Regardless of whether I like the pick at the time or not.

What if they draft a CB or a RB or a DE and it backfires? You still okay with it?

How about this one. What if they don't draft a QB and one of them turns into a top shelf starter for the next 10 years? You still okay with it?

I'm not only talking about drafting a player that's a bust...I'm talking about moving up for said player..

So moving up for those other positions probably isn't an option

W all of that being said, I'm asking the question bc there are a lot questions surrounding the top qbs in this class...I'm not just asking the question just to ask it...I'm specifically asking it bc of the QBs available...

I want a qb w our first pick in this draft as much as anyone...so I'm asking whether you are OK w moving up to 1 to get one of these guys...we don't have the insight to know what our scouts thing of these guys..so I'm asking you for your opinion
