I checked several weather websites and it looks like the heavy rain and strong winds won't actually hit until tomorrow morning. We might catch some light rain towards the end of the game, but kick-off conditions are expected to be 44 F, partly cloudy, and ~5 mph winds. I live in the northeast and these are ideal conditions for a late November (night!) game.
My reference to the weather was in terms of playing on a muddy surface, not so much the temperature. You've got a valid point about that, though and I can certainly appreciate that aspect of it. The warmer the better.
