thank you, that's what I saw too

You guys are wrong. Newman tried to wrap him up, and close his hands. His shoulders and arms were being used to try and wrap up and trip the guy. Newman used proper form. He didin't go in wild and throw his shoulder in and block tackle.

Where is AdamJT13? He will end this discussion?

I'm pretty sure the NFL prohibited that kind of gag order a couple of years ago.

Ah . . . ok then.

Well, in any case, these guys should just shut up then. :)

Funny how Newman is calling people cowards when poor little Terry looked like he was scared ****less to get hit on one of the long breakway runs against the Ravens. In fact, he completely gave up on that play. Look in the mirror, chump.

I think the idea was that Newman figured it was better to let the guy score and then get the ball back.

Not a completely idiotic strategy I might add.

all I saw was Newman dip his shoulder, launch himself, and land squarely at Buckhalter's feet

dude didn't even have to break stride

someone should post that play in real-time

If he would have taken on one of those 300 lbs guys and gotten hurt, you would have called him a girl, so what difference does it make to you?

At least he chased, him.

Bob,

The Fox game had the angle at Newman's back where you can see the play at Newman's back and close up. It clearly showed Newman stick his head in there and try to wrap him up and trip him.

I just looked at the NFL Network, and they don't have that angle, and the picture is further away. Buckhalter cut away from Newman as he dove at him. That is why he got away. Newman dove, attempted a sound, good technique tackle, and the RB cut away from him as Newman came over to get him.

If you want to blame him, you have the right to do so. I want bother you on this anymore.

I do read your posts.

QFT

He had no business revealing to ESPN that players were coming up to Terrell Owens and asking him why Jason Witten gets the ball more than he does.

We saw the play. Newman apologists can't change what happened, or end any discussion, when the video is so obvious.

Newman weakly folded in front of Buckhalter, waiting for his teammates to bring him down. It was a pathetic effort.

Open your eyes and quit making excuses for these losers.

Whoever gave Werder his info.
He was referring to that whole deal.

Link

Who knows what was real?

First Werder said "inside sources" or "sources close the cowboys"

THEN... it was a "cowboys player"

TOO EASY to spin from one BS story "sources close to cowboys" to "cowboys player"

Bottom line: I dont know... you dont know... no one knows.

But if Werder made it up... HE KNOWS.

My favorite thing on this board is how everyone should just keep quiet but then if they don't say enough they're not being enough of a leader and not calling people out enough.

LOL.

will the Cowboys have more media coverage next year than the Superbowl teams? How does a team that can't make playoffs gain so much hype? They are what they are.
The team is divided and is a result of personality conflicts.
This is not a football team its a three ring circus. What a joke. I would never buy a ticket to watch this team.

Just another excuse. Anything to deflect the blame on the players who are heartless.
