Funny you mentioned that. I was wondering why I hadn't heard from my best friend but he and his wife are having dinner with their new neighbors.

I asked " he doesn't watch football ". He said no we're talking after dinner.

Well, Im not interested in any neighbor or friends who aren't watching football. Lol .. but seriously .

I can talk, eat and text while watching .

When the Cowboys are playing I am glued to the tube, if I'm in a Sports Bar with friends we carry on but no phones or other stuff, if home I won't answer a phone or the front door if the Cowboys are playing.

He is a great player but has a permanent get out of jail free card playing in san diego. He turns the ball over a ton and nobody cares, he doesnt make the playoffs and nobody cares, he makes statements like he did this week that make it sound like he is ok with losing and nobody cares etc.

based on his mentality I don't know that he could have handled being covered and questioned the way Romo and Eli Manning have been in their career.

It just annoys me how he is a top 10 pick, They let Drew Bree's go for him and he has never won a Super Bowl which is how he should be judged and nobody ever talks about it. I get that he is in SD and nationally no one cares but still its so hypo critical.

I guess you think he should do the blocking up front, hand off to himself and play all 11 defensive positions.

Sorry your notion that a qb should be judged by super bowls has been repeatedly repudiated and thrashed.

If Troy's Cowboys didn't have Irvin, Emmitt and Haley they win ZERO super bowls. If Russell Wilson doesn't play on a team with an elite defense...they don't even make the playoffs.

I thought I read that the team could choose to paint the helmets but chose not to go through the hassle.

It's not a huge deal, I just miss the jerseys and seeing the broncos old helmets(which I like better than their current) made me think of them.

I wish our "color rush" jerseys were all navy blue instead of white. I also miss the Thanksgiving jersey, and blue '94 double-star.
