First I've paid attention to watching the Panthers play in a long time. Horrible/soft Defense.

They gave the Giants an easy-as-you-please first scoring drive, culminating in making Marty B look like a hero on the TD reception... due to terrible coverage. That was too easy for a injury riddled Giants O. Ridiculous.

so I convinced my gf to get rid of TE Daniels and RB Royster and pick up Bennett and Brown.....so far Bennett has a TD for her.....not sure if Brown has done anything, I just got in to watch the game.

Bennett is gonna be a superstar. We're seeing a Top-5 TE emerge right now...as long as he stays with the Giants. Gotta give Eli, their OC, and their position coaches props, they just know how to develop their receivers.

Speaks volumes about the coaching and culture in Dallas.

How so? By suddenly erasing all the things he never did in Dallas?

The guy was useless in Dallas, partly his fault.....likely some of it the coaches.

This is like the people who are going to claim that Laurent is not doing as well in Jacksonville and say, "told you so".

Well of course not, the environment is different. They have no QB.

You don't make YOUR roster decisions based on what the player can do for other teams but not YOURS.

Bennett wasn't going to emerge in Dallas, largely because Witten was never going to get surpassed by a guy who half-***** it.

So he's gone and producing somewhere else. Doesn't change the fact that he dropped balls in Dallas frequently, couldn't learn the playbook for however many seasons it took and basically just put it on cruise control.
