When some of these teams play it seems like the field is 100yds wide. When our offense is on the field it feels like they're trying to operate within a postage stamp.

Good route combinations create spacing. No matter what you think about our offense, it's been known for years, a decade maybe, that our route combinations are illogical and don't create spacing or clean passing lanes.

Give the Rams credit as an organization, they had a good team from last year and went after it in the offseason to get even better. They added playmakers to both the offense and defense this offseason.

I just think they lost their focus. Zimmer is a defensive coach. They always prepared like that.

Then this year it is all offense because they paid Cousins. It is hard for a staff to flip the switch.
