You can quote other teams to prove your point but I'm talking about this team. He got such a bad wrap that I felt he tried to turn over a new leaf for the cowboys. When we lost that playoff game and I saw his press conference it truly showed me he cared. And then others got on the mic and acted like welp if this is the worst thing that happened to me then i lived a good life. I want someone who lives and dies for this team and in my opinion he did.
Well, I'm not sure what to say other than that your opinion is misguided. Players who live and die by their teams don't have track records for turning teammates against their QBs. And the fact that he not only did it in Dallas, but just about every other place he played ought to make it clear that the problem was not unique to his situation here.
For my part, give me actions, not words. It's easy to say 'that's my quarterback.' Well, I guess it's also easy not to stab him in the back, but for whatever reason that skill somehow escaped TO his whole career. There's a reason a player that good could not find a home long-term with an NFL team.
