Michael made a good point concerning someone rehabbing and running fast but in control on the sideline vs running routes in practice. He thinks the competitiveness of an athlete esp one like TO causes players to go over that line of running in control. In practice the athlete will more likely run beyond a speed/effort where one could injure themselves.

Something I don't think has been mentioned and an area where I thought TO might have been being difficult.

He might have been a little paranoid about injury, but then again its TRAINING CAMP and one should NOT take any undue chances.

You missed the point. I don't care who the player is or whether it's the preseason or regular season. I thought Irvin made a good point about player's turning it on in practice. I just never considered that in an injury which is kinda dumb since I treated sports injuries off and on for a long time.
