Packers and Patriots will accept you on their message boards, no? Still can't figure the reason a fellow Cowboys fan would feel the need to post this. It has the feel of a desire to rub our noses in something (if we were to believe this drivel.)

Well okay then.

I'm not sure why this thread was needed. No one asked this question.

Just randomly, while Romo is on the shelf, you felt the need to post this?

Cool.

Ahhhh wait a minute. I think I remember this poster, and some of his posting history. If you do then it makes it clear why he decided to post something that doesn't matter, in the least.

And it also reminded me all about my favorite thing on this board.

Romo is in the 2nd tier but...Tony Romo > Danny White all day.

Romo isn't in the second tier. When healthy he's as good as any quarterback in the league. Romo would've torched the Falcons. Brandon Weeden dropped 28 on them. Romo probably would've dropped 50. The man played at an MVP level a season ago. There's no reason to think Tony wouldn't have been in that same discussion if he hadn't gotten hurt. He'll be fresh when he comes back and not all the wear and tear a lot of QB's have and with Dez being back too and fresh as well I look for another perfect December.

and you just showed why you failed football 101. Now run along and let the adults talk.

shows bow much he knows

Bottom line is that if Tyron Smith does not gain about 30 lbs, he is for all intents and purposes too light to be a QUALITY starting tackle in the NFL.

As I said, find a good one that is less than 300. Matter of fact I think you have to go to around 310.

And with his lean body type its questionable that he can gain that weight without losing his quickness and flexibility; and its been common talk around USC that he ends the year lighter than he starts it; keeping the weight he has now has been hard for him

And USC has one of the best weight programs around; this is not Podunk U here

Fat is not good for quickness.

As regards sources its been a common topic on the USC boards and its been mentioned by his O Line coach.

I am NOT taking him at #9 for someone who hasn't PLAYED at that weight or showed he CAN maintain that wt. I WON'T take a developmental prospect at #9.

What in God's name are you talking about? Tyron Smith has been one of the best tackles in the game for the last 2-3 seasons? Have you been in a black hole?

You obviously haven't been paying attention the last decade if you don't think Romo is an elite quarterback.

Romo has been pretty good but he is not in Brady or Rodgers class. I would say he is in the same class as Brees prior to this year. He plays very well but he is also likely to do something stupid during two or three games a year. Brady and Rodgers just dont do anything stupid. EVER.

Why isn't Romo in their class? The dude LED the league in QBR and completion percentage a season ago. Threw only nine interceptions. Three of which came on opening day. This ridiculous logic that Romo isn't clutch is absurd. He LEADS the league in fourth quarter comebacks since 2006. How is that not clutch? Every quarterback has boneheaded plays. Even the great Tom Brady and Aaron Rodgers. That's part of playing the position. Any great quarterback is gonna throw interceptions, but they also can lead their teams and carry them just like Tony has for years.

it's maybe not a great idea to start a thread on a Cowboys board telling us our elite QB isn't elite when he obviously is.

And he doesn't have to cheat to be elite. Imagine that?
