Trotter on NFL network asked for TO to be brought back. If the players want him back and Reid is ok - Maybe TO deserves a mulligan. I'm not an Eagles fan but maybe TO deserves some slack and a second chance.

He has apologized and maybe is remorseful and sincere.

I hope they bring him back. I don't want him here and to be honest now that we have swept them maybe he can help to kill off the rest of the division. I will take help anywhere we can get it.

Well I guess everyone deserves a second chance. But to be honest, T.O. will have not gotten a new contract, so I dont see how he will be able to restrain himself when this entire episode is a distant memory.

But why not just cut your losses with the guy. They are going to start a backup, the franchise is about to go under the knife and Jim Johnson's defense has been average this season.

Only way I would do it is to bring him back, make people think he will be a part of the team so people that just wait until you cut him so they dont have to give up a draft pick.

Let's be truthful here, the reason TO is no longer with the team is Donovan McNabb. TO bruised his fragile ego. It isn't because he parked in the handicap space or because he fought with Hugh Douglas in the locker room. Trotter has a local radio show and has said many times that the players don't have any problems with Owens.

Anyway I think we're all Eagles' fans this weekend against the Giants. I'd like to see TO back with the team, he'll get them to 8-8 and might just help them beat the Giants and/or Commanders.

As the Eagles start to tank, McNabb is out.

TO is going to be the winner - Management keeping the man down and taking his money is going to be an issue. Tomorrow is arbitration. TO will win. I'm no advocate of him but he may legally win this battle....

T.O. should not have ever signed that contract. The NFLPA told him not to sign his current contract, but he signed it anyway.

Im all for a guy getting his money but...

If you venture to a new team and you come in as a Top 1-5 Receiver in the NFL, the onus is on you and your agent to make sure the new TEAM is paying you as such.

It isnt like this guy was a scrub when he joined the Eagles, had a breakout season with them and then wanted more money. He was a top 5 Receiver, he had no business not making Top 5 Receiver money.

Sorry T.O. you are the "Weakest Link"!!!

I think he will win too. The maximum you can suspend any player is 4 games, and since the Eagles announced their intention to deactivate him for the rest of the season as punishment, it is effectively a suspension. If Keyshawn had appealed he would have won too. I believe the arbitrator will force the Eagles to cut Owens this season.

I watched calico's Tivo recording of the game today for the first time. Look at McNabb move. Look at him dance in the end zone. Look at the hits he took, yet he popped right up. But after he is gently pushed to the ground after the interception, he suddenly can't stand up. When will people stop calling this guy a warrior and start calling him a head case?

Players desperate for savior now that McChoke is out.

Rallying around TO to pull them out of tailspin.

Management rationalizing it in their heads now to keep TO off of NFC playoff team.

Cut TO, goes to Dallas, wins SB.

Even the usually cut throat Eagles front office couldn't stomach that.

TO and the Cowboys defeating Corey Simon and the Colts in Detroit would cause riots for weeks in Philly.

I highly doubt T.O. is coming to Dallas....

I know me and whole bunch of other natives would start rooting for the Texans until he exits the building but it will never happen.

Every player that gets cut, has issues with management/team, etc etc is always linked to the Cowboys.

Never understood this.

Did he apologize to his former OC in SF?
Did he apologize to Garcia for the things he said about him?

Sure...NOW he apologizes. When his bluff is called.

He isn't sorry about ANYTHING except that he isn't getting paid for 4 games.

It's ALL about T.O. and it always will be.

Nope....I have no hard feelings for whatever happens to the guy. I don't care how nice he is in private....there are things that shouldn't be done in sports and he's done them.....he's the one that took it public....NOT the Eagles.

He's done this crap everywhere he's been. They need to nip it now or he will ofrever live with a feeling of being entitled to everything.

Why do you think the Eagles are rethinking their stance?

TO in Dallas and Detroit Bowl is done deal.

Now all of a sudden the stuff he did wasn't so bad.

They'd rather have him ripping organization/McMahon apart rest of year then to see us win our 6th before their first.

I have yet to get anything - but Collusion would not be beyond JJ/BP. Eagles might be scared TO gets declared FA in process. Though thats very unlikely.

Tomorrow is good theatre.... BTW this arbitrator sided with Glenn over Pats.....

Really? I'll always like the Cowboys even if they do sign an all world turd like TO. I coped with that knucklehead Tyson Walter.

Heck, I'd still like 'em if they moved to L.A. (or anywhere else for that matter).

I certainly wouldn't ditch them for the Texans just because they make a move I don't like.

I'm a Cowboys fan.

Hey, Nors, I've got this really great piece of land down in Florida I'd like to get rid of, I'll let you have it for a VERY good price...

Just pump a couple-three feet of water off of it, run off a few gators, and you're good to go...

Whaddaya say, bud, you up for being one of those guys that PT Barnum told us about??

Personally I think the Eagles should either play him or release him. Its a bunch of BS that they stated they dont care about the money they just want him gone! If that was the case they would just release him and be done with it.
