interesting comparison between Miles' 2009 and TO's 2008 campaigns: has Miles replaced TO's production? yup....

T.O:

69 1,052 15.2 75T 10

Miles:

58 999 17.2 60T 10

I guess officially (no newsflash here) Miles is a #1 receiver...in fact he has a possibility of surpassing TO's best season here (1355 yds, 15 tds)...

It is nice Miles has replaced TO's numbers and kept the harmony while doing it.

And he's only going to get better.

Sad thing though, the guy we're paying like he's a superstar is going to stay exactly the same.

Austin = the new Irvin.

I called it 3 weeks ago, I am echoing it now, and if you don't believe me see ya in 2 seasons when he is ranked the #1 WR in the NFL.

Miles will shatter TO's in 2008. I'm hoping Miles finishes strong and gets 1400+ yds which is more than TO's best year here in 2007. That would be quite remarkable given Miles late insertion into the starting lineup and how much we tried to get TO the rock.

In less starts and overall PT too.

It just further confirms what most everyone saw other than the extreme TO homers, that TO was a shell of his former selft and other han 1 or 2 games last yr, had almost no impact at all.

Get over the contracts. Money doesn't magically and mystically make someone play like a superstar. If that's the case Jay Ratliff should be a total bum.

Uh, he's got to compete against Andre Johnson and Larry Fitzgerald...
