Today proves the best team in the NFC East in 2008 is the Eagles

Alot of you guys dimissed them weeks ago. I am near the area and see this team routinely finish strong. The big Thanksgiving win told me they would make a run and the final game would be the decider and as we saw it was no contest. I hate to say it, but I think they are gonna win this thing and that makes me sick.

now, at the end of the year, what did good ole wade say, give me time to formulate my plan, and fix things.

well lets see, you have had over 2 weeks good ole wade, see the fat lazy head coach runs his team just liike he does practice, etc, lazy and half ran.

there should have been a plan in effect now, firing and hiring of coaches;

releasing more players than just adam jones;

working on trades when the season allows it, cutting some dead weight on this team, when you cut players that you least suspected, you send a signal to this team, you had better have a better attitude about winning and wanting to win

but what happens today, spencer the outside linebacker, gets into a fight and jail time

there is no accountablity on this team and players fearing for their jobs

till that is addressed by a tough head coach that will work this team so no more sloppy football is played or practiced, then yessssssssss
there are 31 other teams better than the dallas cowboys

the team takes on the personnality of the head coach, and thats a quote from john madden

this team has gotten soft from good ole wade, time for jerry jones to realize that

Exactly, I'm so sick of the long drawn out excuses. The Cowboys are lazy and they deserve to sitting at home. The two teams in the NFC Championship are playing with heart and passion. Something we lacked throughout the season.

Sorry, your post is mularkey. You sound like Wade makng excuses. Records dont matter so much as results and since the Eagles finished ahead of us and beat the Giants in NY, not once, but twice, they get the bragging rights for whatever that is worth.

The " we have more talent " thing is the biggest cliche of 2008. How do you know? Because the media says so? Please. All football teams have talent, including our boys, who do have really good talent. They just dont really care.

Again, Wade is not the real problem, it's Jerry the GM. Did you think Wade would change once he got to Dallas. he has been run out of every HC he has had. He is a good DC, not head coach. His plan to get tough is a joke.

One more thing. Andy Reid appears to have made a great decision in benching McNabb after the Balt game. It woke his team up and he wised up. Yes, I will give you that the moon and stars had to align the final weekend, but honestly, did you think the Boys would even have a shot? I hate the Eagles but I do admire their reseilency (sp?). They have proved it on the field. So yes, they are indeed the best in the NFC East 2008.

I don't think anyone needed to see this season to realise that getting hot at the end was the best way to go into the playoffs.

If anyone didn't know that, before this year, they're never going to grasp that fact.

I'm afraid you are right, and our future as Cowboy fans my be in jeapardy as long as Jerry is running things. I wonder if Stephen can pull a mandatory retirement on the old guy..

Eh, if only to play devil's advocate the Cardinals folded it up at the end of the season after they clinched. We did that last year and it came back to bite us, they got lucky in the fact that they didn't have to play a great team in their first playoff game so they could get their legs back under them. I wouldn't have been surprised to see them get thwapped in the first round just like the Boys did last year.

The only thing the Eagles have going for them is swagger and Brian Westbrook. The swagger stems from, as much as I hate to say it because he might be the biggest tool of all time, their leader Brian Dawkins. I can't stand the guy's antics and I think he is a clown, but his team buys into it. He plays with passion and it trickles down.

That is what they are the best at.
