CowboysZone ULTIMATE Fan
Zay Jones, Montavius Adams, Haasan Riddick, Jourdan Lewis, Jordan Willis, Damontae Kazee, Tre'Davious White all moved up to the cowboy menu in my book.
Watch a full game of Adams and you might change your mind. He looks lazy.

Thanks for the insight on MAdams that might be the case, he looked aggressive and mean going against his peers at the Senior Bowl. Lets see what the numbers indicates at the combine, he will not be a cowboy if he is a mediocre talent and has little leadership traits. FO has earned my trust on these types.

He is a player no doubt the combine will confirm his swiftness. I have raved about him also but when put with the other WR's he did not have that breakaway speed I think we need in our next drafted WR. If the boys decide that they do not need that speed he is worthy of us choosing early.

Our WRs don't need breakaway speed lol
We need WRs who are intelligent, can read defences, run crisp routes, be where they need to be when they need to be and catch the ball reliably

"Breakaway speed" is way over-rated

Just the threat of that breakaway speed shades the safeties IMO, I think speed is preferred if they were to describe their perfect WR, like you described with football acumen being most important. It has been a long time since we have had a "aware" receiver like you noted other than our leading receiver in 2016, Beasley.

Honestly, any of Ross, Corey Davis, Cupp and Zay Jones and I'm happy. All are good players, Davis probably a little better than the rest.

The question on Kupp is he an outside WR at the NFL level. I suspect no one has doubts he will play, but is it in a primarily slot role? If it is I don't think he fits this team right now. We need a Z, a primarily outside player, preferably with deep threat ability.

What's it going to be then, eh?

He was showing out for the practices. Scary when a player does that.

The project field is full for the cowboys. He is a third round choice at best in our draft menu in Feb. I think 3rd round we can do better if he is a malingerer as others have noted.
