It’s safe to say Tom Brady isn’t to fond of commissioner Roger Goodell, but he might not even be the Brady most upset about the outcome of ‘Deflategate.’

Tom Brady Sr. held nothing back in an interview with KRON in San Francisco, calling Goodall’s rolling over the deflated ball saga a disgrace.

“He went on a witch hunt and went in way over his head and had to lie his way out in numerous ways and the reality is that Tommy never got suspended for deflating footballs,” Brady Sr. said.

Not at all. Pats Cheated over & over.
Never won a SB by more than 4 points.
Only Pats fans turn a blind eye.

And many former QB's have said deflate gate was ridiculous...and as far as I'm concerned, why doesn't the league handle the balls before each game, put the referee in charge of the footballs or assign an official from the league to babysit the footballs and check air pressure...it's just a scapegoat. Everything the patriots have done the last 17 years offends the league, simply because they've defied the odds. The league wants parity...and the Patriots have defied the odds.

Meanwhile, the Giants coaching staff used walkie talkies in a game which is clear violation of the rules but penalty is to move their 4th rd pick to the end of round. I see the justice in that said nobody.

Screw the cheaters.

Dumb or not, whether it made a difference or not...they still cheated.
This is what people are forgetting. It isn't what advantage was gained or not, it was the clear attempt at a systematic skirting of the rules.

That's like saying you should only be punished for the robbery, but if you attempt one and don't get away with anything, you're good.

Tom Brady is a cheater
Tom Brady is the only NFL great to have been suspended for cheating
Tom Brady plays for a team that had cheated repeatedly in the past

All of those statements are accurate
Brady fans can whine all they want

What they're also forgetting is that they did this repeatedly for years
Why would they continue to do something that gave them no advantage and then deny it when caught?

Clearly they BELIEVED it gave them an advantage and they knew it was cheating

Insider trading is still a crime, whether you profited very little or a lot. I can't believe this point is lost on so many. How punitive should it have been? Ok, I can understand debate there. But cheating did take place, and consequences should be handled out. That isn't up for debate.

I'm guessing Tom Brady's dad is the new Eli apple's mom?

Why hasn't romo's parents chimed in on his situation? Bad parents. Bad!

I agree, deflate gate was the absolutely ridiculous...and not from Tom Brady's end, the leagues end. The NFLPA need to seriously grow a spine.

He cheated, period.

All of the supporters for Brady are claiming he didn't cheat because they are saying that the footballs should have deflated to about 11.5 PSI and the average of the 12 footballs was at 11.33 PSI and there is some margin for error.

However, they can't just use the mean PSI to suit their agenda. If you cheated on 1 football...he still cheated. And there were footballs measured at 10.5, 10.7, 10.8 and 10.9 PSI, all significantly below what the scientists projected using the Ideal Gas Law.

The union did support Brady and were going to spend the massive amounts of $$$ to take this to court. All to defend a guy that cheated and cheated his fellow union members.

Tom Brady's actions are disgraceful, his supporters who have scientific credentials who have tarnished their credibility for the sake of their fandom are embarrassments and Tom Brady's dad apparently didn't teach his son one ounce of integrity. Unfortunately, the same could be said for Goodell. So in the end...they deserve each other.

The best outcome would be for the Falcons to win and Goodell to just step down and resign.

Brady actually got off.
He served suspension the following year AFTER he restructured contract.

The 4 games cost him considerably less than they would have if suspended in the previous year.
