Gotta love the MARTYR like honor of Tom Fraudy. He wasnt going to give over anything on his cell phone as a union member because he didnt want to be the guy to set a precedent going forward that might get other union members in a precarious situation if they got caught cheating.

Im sure he has gained a lot of new respect from all his union members that are pulling for him to beat this unwarranted punishment by the evil league.

Ridiculous isn't it. His ego is his biggest flaw. He doesn't get that no matter what happens now, there is a massive section of football fans that have lost respect for him and his accomplishments. This was badly mishandled from day one.

Glad it's not the Cowboys surrounded by controversy. Kraft apologizing to Brady is ridiculous. If there's was nothing wrong done by the Pats or Tom, why were those two staffers fired? Further, accepting a 1st and 4th round pick to be taken away and the largest fine ever levied by the NFL when you've done nothing wrong is just plain old dumb and no one, unless a blind-homer Pats fan, believes this. On the cell phone, can't say I'd want to hand over my phone either. With that though, he could've just refused to hand it over but destroying it is very very curious. Come on....

NFL really never asked him for his phone. They asked him for the text messages pertinent to the situation. They could have just given the text messages on a honor basis but they didn't do that. This is on Brady IMO and I am a fan of Tom Brady. This was just a stupid decision on his part. JMO

when you are fawned over and petted and given special treatment on the field eventually you decide you are bullet proof.

Brady disgusts me. Kraft is another story. I never liked that man.

It's funny. I always wondered about people that can do what he does.

I've rooted for him in a few of his SB's. Don't think I can do that anymore. I've lost a lot of respect for him. He thinks he's bigger than the game.

isn't it hard to hand over messages without handing over the entire phone, phone companies do not keep text records more than two months due to sheer volume, and you cannot forward text messages, hell unless he is ********, they were already deleted and the phone would have had to be forensically reviewed

No, not really. According to what has been reported, the NFL was willing to accept information on the text messages, submitted by Brady's legal defense on it's face. They did not require the phone. They were willing to accept the text message info in good faith, suggesting that a transcript of the messages would be acceptable. All they had to do was agree, which they didn't do.

The text messages existed on the phone at the time the NFL requested them, clearly, because they got some of those texts from the recipients of said texts. It was only later that the phone was "apparently" destroyed.

Is he is not guilty then he and the Partiots should do this:
Go into the NFL offices with lawyers
Go with the cell phones from all 3 participants.
Allow NFL access to all Cell information - Calls and text messages, With lawyers review of dropping what was not communications beween the three.
Have the three take a lie dectector test by a trained FBI agent.
Allow the 3 to go into court and swear before a judge they did nothing wrong.
Present the evidence of the deflated footballs and the Wells report.
Allow NFL lawyers to question each individual separate from the others.
At the end of the day if there is nothing there clear their names and reverse all the punishments.

Will they 3 submit to it along with the Patriots blessing...
I think NOT!!!!
