Tom Coughlin Fired as Giants Head Coach

As expected. Giants fans have been calling for his head for a couple years now. And this guy helped bring the 2 Super Bowls.

Goodbye Coach Coughlin. One of the last old school coaches. Mixed feelings, very mixed feelings. One side of me knows it was time for a change but another side of me hates seeing him gone.

Say what you want about him the last few years, he got his team two Super Bowl trophies.

I never had anything against Coughlin, always seemed passionate.

Wow. I know it was very likely... but finally they show him the door. Maybe Elis going out with him.

EDIT: Just read on NFL.com that he stepped out. They havent fired him.

They met today so I'm assuming this is his decision and not a firing.

Got Jacksonville up and going quickly without a process. Got the Giants 2 SBs. Could actually out gameplan other coaches in big games over the years. Slipped recently but still deserves kudos
