Ex-Raiders offensive coordinator Tom Walsh says "Randy Moss is a player whose skills are diminishing, and he's in denial of those eroding skills."

"Randy was a great receiver," Walsh says. "But he lacked the work ethic and the desire to cultivate any skills that would compensate for what he was losing physically later in his career." Under Walsh, Moss ran shorter routes and caught passes underneath, not normally his bread and butter.

I think Moss will still be a force in New England because of QB he has throwing the ball to him!
Not to mention, going from Oakland to the #1 consensus Super Bowl favorite probably does wonders for a person's motivation.

Yeah I would agree, but I still would take T.O. over Moss.

Moss will dog it just like he has everywhere else. It will be interesting to see what the Pats do the first he does it there.

If he dogs it with the Pats, I have no doubt someone will take him to the woodshed real quick.

I still think he would have been a better fit in GB, especially with Favre at QB.

"Hey Randy, run far and I'll throw it high"
"OK"

pretty much what both of them like to do

Did Tom Walsh release this statement from the Bed and Breakfast he's working at now? In other news, Moss states that Walsh's coaching abilitites are diminishing and he is just a coach in denial.

Well that's funny since Moss himself said he stopped giving a full effort, how is it not your fault (atleast a little) when you're not trying?

Walsh was a stupid hire by the Raiders last yr, but he right about this...Moss is a shadow of his former self...on top of being a hgue loser

Well see me at the end of the season when Moss has like 1,200 yards and 10 TD's...

David - I totally disagree with you on this one. As long as Moss is HEALTHY, he will put up great numbers and put NE, at the very LEAST, in the AFC Championship game.

Mark it down.

A deep threat is all Moss really is. He's lost a step, and he's nowhere near as amazing or gamechanging as he was in Minnesota in his early years where was virtually unstoppable

The Pats are going to be good because of their defence... Brady doesn't hurt either.

Moss or no Moss, I would have them as the favorites in the AFC.
