Romo=Derek Anderson.

 That has got to be the most ridiculous statement posted on this board.

If you think he is Derek Anderson, you have no football knowledge.

he also has the best wr in the nfl hands down.FITZ!!! yep know him personally too.:)

Would rather have Andre Johnson. Bigger, faster, stronger.

Doesnt catch as well but nobody catches better than Fitz.

Romo is not that young anymore. He'll be 29 before the next draft.

I meant young in the developmental sense, I don't think 29 is that old for an NFL QB though.

I am ten days older then Tony Romo, and let me tell you I am spry, jaunty, full of piss and vinegar. Yes, still young, still got "it".

When did Jon88 become the most tedious poster on the board?

Tony has some growing to do, both in his on the field game, and his maturity toward the game. Not surprising in the least. The key is finding the person to shepherd him through this process. Warner was bagging freaking groceries - he had been tempered in the furnace of life. Nothing motivates like hunger. Romo isn't really hungry - he's a popular figure leading the best team in sports with lots of money and a girlfriend whose entire body is a vacation resort for men. Romo needs someone to guide his development, mentally and physically. Do we have that person? Is it Garrett or Wilson? I have my doubts.

Throw it away?

Yes, sometime you have to know when to throw the ball away. Phil Rivers was exceptional in the last tying FG drive. He knew the last thing he wanted was a TURNOVER. If nothing was open, he either ran for a gain or threw it way.

If Tony had been in the situation, he would have either 1) thrown to triple coverage and get intercepted or 2 )held the ball too long and got sacked/fumbled.

I was sitting here watching the game with my dad, I was telling him how Kurt can lead a team. You see Kurt yelling at refs when there isn't a call, You see him get pissed and angry on the sidelines. I started thinking, I wish Romo would do something similar, he throws a pic and he pouts, there is a no call and he smiles and jokes with the ref. You see him on the sideline alone pouting byhimself. I recently read an article on BSPN on Warner, talking bout his faith and what not, but they asked his wide recievers about him, Larry Fitz was saying how, if Warner was mad at you, for something you did on the field or in practice, you didn't want to be around Warner, you'd hide. Cause he gives his WR's crap for messing up. Troy was like that. I remember seeing Troy b**ching out players on the sideline, they respected him.

I love Romo, I think he can become just as great as any QB, but he needs to start changing things. Just my opinion, no need to say how stupid this post is.

Sounds like Warner has WRs that respect him......
Tony don't.

Tony needs to make better decisions - Thats all!

He cannot learn anything from "Turnover Kurt"... Tony already has that part down pat.

Kurt will have that 5 turnover game IN THIS PLAYOFFS....

THEN I want someone to dig up this thread.

:laugh2:

The sight of Romo pouting when things are going bad is actually pretty comical at this point. He hangs his head like Charlie Brown whenever things go badly, and I'm already tired of it.

I don't want him to jump up and down and fly off the handle, and we already know he's a tough guy, but he seriously looks like he's close to tears on the sidelines when things start going badly.

It's no where close to Wade though, who always looks dumbfounded.

One of the things that cracks me up is that back in 2004 cajuncowboy and I were pro Kurt Warner coming to Dallas. No one was on board.

Now suddenly our QB who has been a deity for 2 and a half seasons could learn fromt eh guy who was washed up 4 years ago.

I love it.

Look at the playcalling, if Kurt were here running speed option on 3rd and short, you would still find a way to blame someone else.
