Tony Romo appreciation thread

There is no way they win 12 games with the remaining schedule.

You see, one day you are going to mess up a post and then guess what? It's "Gameover".

He was poor in the first half, wild, inaccurate. Then he got tossed around for a while. Then he contributed to the victory down the stretch when his mechanics suddenly improved and he started stepping up in the pocket. He could have had five interceptions, but he didn't. And we won a vital road game.

What "pocket"? The only "pocket" Romo had was what he could create for himself with his legs, LOL!

He did more than just "contribute" to the win. Dallas do not win that game without Romo, period.

There was absolutely no possibility that this team, which most people expected to have grossly deficient line play on both sides of the ball, was going to win 12 games.

Watch his last few throws. He stepped up, for once.

Then you agree that we should win out, since we don't win games without Romo.

Take Romo off this team, and then give me reasons why we stand a chance to win the next 3 games?

Stellar defense?

Stellar Running game?

Romo is the only reason why the cowboys have a "chance" every week.

Your words, not mine. I just believe that the Cowboys would have not won today without Tony. Your entitled to a different opinion if you choose.

I think the Steelers are going to be a problem, but right now the Saints look beatable and the Commanders game does not follow the rules because it is a division game. Could go 2-1, but I think the Giants are going to win the East.

Not true

thank you!

2 straight 4th quarter rallies. good job tony, and co.

also, spencer deserves credit for the biggest play of the game IMO on 3rd and 5 with 4 minutes left.

Critics can say whatever.

The Reality?

At the end of the day, it's like that desperate call from doomed Alderon,
"Obiwan Romo C'Nobo...YOU are our only (Cowboy) hope."

Technically that call originated on the ship "Tantive 4." above the planet Tatooine.

and just in case you say she was saying that it was Alderaan's hope she was pleading for. The Princess was speaking of the Rebel Alliances hope. not Alderaan's. officially Alderaan was not involved in the conflict between the Rebel Alliance and the Empire. Which is why she was so upset and surprised by it's being targeted by the Death Star and Grand Moff Tarkin...

That is a really idiotic statement. I think you would be hard pressed to name more than 5 times when the game was on the line that Romo did not lead the team down for the chance at a score at the end when he had close to ample time to do so.

If Jerry Jones is not up to the task of fulfilling his requirements as the owner and general manager, than he will ultimately be replaced by someone who can.

More importantly, we must find the right coaching group capable of establishing absolute rule and pure obedience from the workers.
