Beautiful car! Love the color and the white racing stripes. That is one tough car.

Thank you.. I wanted blue and silver (cowboy colors) but they didn't have in 2008 .. It's a good toy to play with ...:D

Realistically, I bet he's just waiting for the Rogers deal and deals that large tend to take a while. Being another year older next year, I would think he'd have to really want out of Dallas to wait another year for a contract with a new team.

He wouldn't get a better deal than what he'll get here.

I disagree. There are plenty of desperate teams that would be clawing to get the phones to place the highest bid to his agent. And it may not even be all about the money. Maybe he just wants to play somewhere else (if he leaves).

No owner in the league is going to pay him like Jerry Jones. Not for an older QB with a choke label. His stock is highest with the Cowboys.

A Romo deal will get done, and I'll be glad when it does. History suggests this team is a lot more likely to hang onto a veteran than let one go early.

Que sera, sera. What will be, will be.

It is going to come down to how bad does Romo want to be a) a Cowboy and b) a winner.

The 2014 Dallas Cowboys will only be competitive with Romo at QB if Romo signs a cap-friendly contract. If Romo hold out for every penny he can get, he will kill the chances of the team going far. The cap room just isn't there to pay him $20M/yr. If he is looking for money, first and foremost, then it might be better to just let him walk. Other players need paid soon: Bryant, Lee, Carter, etc.

Romo's had plenty of chances here and has been paid extremely well. If he has no loyalty to the owner and fellow teammates and fans to give a discount (is it that hard to go from $20M to $16M/yr?) to help win a ring, then I'm all for letting him go.

BS, did you see what Arizona gave up for Kolb? How about Matt Flynn? Your hatred of Romo distorts "your" value of him.

Romo's FA deal would be huge and there would be a lot of teams trying to sign him (To name a few - Minnesota, Cleveland, Arizona, Oakland, Buffalo, NYJ, Jacksonville, Houston, Tennessee, Tampa, KC, and the killer - The Eagles could be players.)

This board would be on suicide watch if Romo won a Superbowl for the Eagles. It would be fun to watch the haters implode.

I think Stephen Jones screwed the pooch on this one!

This cannot be. We have been told here for years that nobody is better at managing the cap.

Then try to trade him now and lets build the lines. Orton can earn his check for a year wile we get cap in order prob can go 8-8 with a good oline and a healthy D that should make everyone happy.

In your heart of hearts, watching him play year after year, you honestly think he is a shoe-in to win a Super Bowl almost immediately with a new team?

What on earth makes you say that?

Sure, there would be a mad rush to sign him. But saying that wins a team a Super Bowl is an incredible stretch.

Even Peyton Manning, a far superior QB, failed in year one with the Broncos.

You are wrong.

He might be.

That just means that there are owners more impulsive and less confident of their ability to find another QB than Jerry Jones.

Does everybody believe this story without any other verification?

How many false reports have we seen in the past few days?

The local reporters should chime in on this tomorrow.

If we trade Romo, the worst possible outcome would be 8-8. No chance to draft a franchise qb, and no chance at the big prize.

To be honest, I think Romo deserves better fans than the ones he gets as starting QB for Dallas. It could be in his best interest to leave for another team.

I'm not sure about that we will have next years first and and someones first (for Romo) combine them and move up for a QB, Also have a Oline in place for the new QB so he don't get killed.

It just goes to show you how short sighted the management of this franchise is.

There is no plan, just this idea that a great "partner" in Tony Romo would just bend over and take a cap friendly contract. Why should he?

It has been made clear he has the upper hand. He's been told over and over he is the franchise, even when he personally fails. There have been no threats to his job security, ever, from the Brad Johnson signing on down. He has the keys to the franchise's future given to him by the Joneses and there is no reason he should just be humble and give them up.

This is a business, on both sides and I would not blame Romo a bit if it played out where he goes through 2013 on the last year of his deal.

There has been no plan to replace him. There still is no plan because he is still viewed as the solution, all the while there is some asinine attempt each season to decide what exactly the theme is. Is it "Romo-friendly" or is it "more Romo"?

The organizational direction of this franchise is making this a big deal, not Romo. But I am sure if he played out his contract and left, there would be an angry contigent of fans who would hold it against him.

To be honest we as fans deserve better than him dragging his feet at least some help for the Only team that gave him a chance. Not saying he owes a discount but he should see that the team is trying to get better and can't do much until we get him settled.
