I can't help but think that if we didn't trade Coakley like we should have, none of this would have ever happened.

Yes it's too late. As Risen mentioned above, it is to much to expect Romo to win out coming off a serious injury and 7 game stretch without playing (bit to mention worth a team that can't win a single game without him). With that said, nothing would make me happier than for Romo to win out and we sneak into the playoffs and beat an undefeated Patriots team. I wouldn't want this for me as a
Fan, and definitely not for this sorry *** team (if they can't win one game to save their season, they surely don't deserve a SB). I would want it solely to change the narrative on Romo from his current one as a second tier QB choker to a league MVP, SB MVP and potential HOF QB.

He'll win enough to get us picking in the middle of the round.

5-2

Final 7-9

I agree, this is what I'm prepared for and know in my heart will most likely happen. But considering how much of a nightmare this season has become, I can at least dream that it will end that way. Right?!?! Otherwise I got nothing.

I would rather they not play him at all, let Cassell play out and not risk Tony getting reinjured for a meaningless season. I'd rather take the high draft pick and start looking towards next year, but who knows anything can happen!!

Probably... but maybe not... They're still less than 3 full games out of first place... The Giants and Eagles both have to play some tough teams, and also have to play each other in the last game of the season.

I'd say it's still unlikely that 8-8 wins the division, and probably equally as unlikely that we'll go 7-0 to finish... That said, I'm not throwing in the towel until we're mathematically eliminated... Contrary to popular belief, our team doesn't suck, at least not with Romo at QB.

Looking forward to the draft. I want Paxton Lynch with the 1st overall pick. Maybe ship Romo to Denver to take over Manning for a 1st.

We have between a 2% - 3% chance of making the playoffs according to statistical models currently.

It's only that high because our division is horrid.

I'm feeling like it's to late for us but I just can't bring myself to fully give up till it's officially over. I am really looking forward to seeing a real qb play for dallas next week because I forgot what that looks like.

We're 2 and a half games out of the playoffs right now, and you don't even want us to try winning with Romo? Our team went 6-1 to finish last season, and you don't even want us to try?

I disagree. We still have an outside shot at winning the division, and until we compile enough losses to extinguish those hopes, then I expect us to play each game like it's our last.

Furthermore, I'm a fan of Romo, and I get no enjoyment from watching Tony sit on the bench... It's just damn entertaining to watch Romo play, and that alone is reason enough for me to want to see him back out there...
