This just in from the folks at the AT&T National ...

Tiger Woods, the tournament host, will be grouped with Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo during the Earl D. Woods Memorial Pro-Am next Wednesday (July 1) at Congressional.

Not sure how a Cowboys quarterback gets top billing in D.C., but for what it's worth, the Commanders' QB, Jason Campbell, also will be playing in the event (no word on who's in his group).

Also confirmed to be playing: Commanders receiver Antwaan Randle El and Capitals coach Bruce Boudreau.

I wonder when the "woe is Romo" mindset will finally end.

Hell, I wonder if he sits around asking why other football players aren't criticized like he is. I doubt it.

He probably realizes its all a part of the job. He probably realizes that the QB for the Dallas Cowboys is held to a pretty high standard in comparison to other football players out there.

Instead of wondering about what people would say if it were Romo or about what people should say if it were some other QB, I'd rather imagine the guy just go out and silence all the critics.

Maybe that's just me.

We all know Romo plays a high profile position. But if people feel some of the criticism is unjust (the golf nonsense), I can understand pointing out the hypocricy when other players are doing the same (harmless) thing and are not questioned.
Personally, I have an issue with him playing soccer and basketball. One can easily get injured playing those sports. He's not going to get injured playing golf.

God is only giving Tony what he deserves, he is a good person that just gets a lot of "Envy".

No. People get to pile on Romo for anything and everything. None of it has to make any sense, and pointing out the hypocrisy and the stupidity of it will be met with sarcasm and ridicule.

That's pretty much already been decided. You're opening up a can of worms here that should just stay shut.

What we should be doing is pretending in another thread that Tony doesn't work hard enough on his conditioning and complaining about his attitude.
