On the Terd they were playing a game called "Title" and it was throw a name out there and then say whether or not that guy would win a title.

Cam Newton - Nope

Matty Ice - Nope

Tony Romo - YES!

Colin said Romo WILL win a title because he will have the best OL in the league for the 4 yrs he has left to play. He then referred to Tom Brady and said Brady ALWAYS has had a very good OL, his entire career. He didnt compare Tony to Cry Brady, but used the quality OL as the point of reference for having a legitimate shot at a title.

Tony getting more love . . . . . . . . . . .

I'm guessing he wouldn't bet his career on that. I hope Tony does, but no one can say for sure.

He might have won it last year.

When you get beat, you deal with it. When it gets taken from you, that's a wound that doesn't heal.

I will always wonder where that journey would have ended had the proper call been made on the field.

Romo was saying in that recent interview about how few chances you really get.

He said this years team, even with its warts, would have stomped those teams 2-3 years ago.
He said he knows what's it like to wonder if you can even get 1.5 seconds of time to throw it or if you can even get three stops an entire game. With this past year's team, he knew they could most of the time.
He also said they felt very good about facing Seattle, if it came to that.

From Dallas' perspective, the ball only hit the ground 5 times:

  • Murray's fumble
  • 2 thrown away passes
  • 1 dropped pass
  • 1 catch by Dez over turned

So close.

I think Tony has dealt with wounds his entire career and it drives him. I think its a motivator for guys like him and Witten.

I agree and I think it is a motivator for a lot of guys on this team. Romo also talked of many guys already getting back to Valley Ranch and him throwing the ball to guys. He did not specify any particular player but knowing guys are out there working says a lot about their desire to get to the top.

Given the DL wasn't able to so much as spit on Rodgers in the 2nd half of that game I'd have to imagine it would have still ended with a L.

maybe. maybe not. One thing is for certain though. We got robbed of our chance to take the lead, turn momentum, fire up the defense, quiet the crowd and put the pressure on them....

And the way Seattle beat GB was just..luck. We wouldve beat Seattle too....

Its done. in the past.

Lets get this year rolling. Lets get this done. #cowboyszone , wherever they may be, need to jump on this train of momentum and drive Romo right into the Hall of Fame ,

I sure hope so. Get it done in the next 2 years dallas!! They were good last year but they just play good enough in the playoffs. Im not too salty about the catch anymore because of the call in the lions game. Lol

Either way, Romo has won me over. It's hard for me to put into words but over the past two years I just have a totally different view of him as a QB. Maybe he had these qualities all the time and I just overlooked them. But the past few seasons, in my eyes, he seems to be a much more gritty and gutty QB....that is playing much smarter.
Sure, the O-line helps...but I think he has taken a huge step.

As for Cowherd, I don't fall for the opinions of someone in the media...just like I don't fall for the comments of others as they respond to that media person. Here's why: If Cowherd came out today and said Romo would never win a championship...he'd be getting killed by everyone on here. But since he said what we wanted to hear, that makes his opinion valid? Not by me. He is just another blowhard.

I agree!!! I laugh when fans of other teams say he chokes and is an underachiever. I always challenge these people to make a list of their top 10 undrafted QBs of all time. If anything, Romo is an OVERachiever.

If a defensive line as good as the offensive line can be built, I think he's right.

And I can't stand that blowhard.

Isn't it great that somebody, whom has never actually been an NFL official, can sit in an office looking at his TV from 1,500 miles away from GB and decide that outcome!

And then he gets FaceTime, inflating his ego even more, for the next couple of weeks explaining the play and how he was "right"!

He's always been gritty and gutty, now he's more calculated. Those injuries he sustained kind of forced him to play smarter and not harder. It also forced him to lean more on the run instead of doing the audible out to a pass...

He is, in fact I think Cowherd is the most interesting guy in the business. I didn't say the most right or the best I said interesting. He made a comment today that I loved. He said life is not about things - it's about experiences. We work hard to buy things we really don't need to impress people we really don't like but experiences stay with us and never let us down.

BTW - Colin has ALWAYS been consistent with Tony, has always recognized his talent and criticized both ESPN and fans for failing to acknowledge what he has accomplished and has gotten crushed over it through the years. Also, don't think Romo doesn't know it because he told him in the interview that he appreciates Colin always having his back.

I've already placed my $500 on Dallas winning next year when they went down to 16:1. Planning on finally putting that long-awaited hot tub in a nice navy blue trim and getting drunk on redemption.
