Detroit was 9 for 17 on third down today. I suppose that was Romo's fault also.

I don't think Romo was the sole reason for lossing but I would not say he had a good game either. Way too many TOs. We gave up a lot of excellent field position on those TOs that lead directly to points and one INT thrown while we were in scoring position.

Having said all this, we can't stop anybody. Haven't been able to since Greg Ellis went down IMO.

Agreed. I can't put the loss on Romo but I can't say that he played good either. Every player, even the QB, needs to protect the football. Holding onto the ball too long will get you drilled, as well as taking off with the ball in one hand. If he can rid himself of those very correctable errors, then he may be an elite QB someday.

Romo goofed up thrice and missed passes, the defense didn't bail him out. The TEAM lost.

Romo's fumbles resulted in 6 points. Romo's overall play resulted in many more points for Dallas and nearly 2 fourth quarter comebacks.

i agree u know who i blame? terence newman.

he got called for that penalty first drive 3 points.

he fumbled that punt, result 7 points.

he got owned by mike williams off the LOS result 7 points

newman was responsible for giving up 17 points today.

he did score a td so 7 gets off the books, thats still 10 points.
