Found some interesting stuff on Tony Romo
Tony had the best qb rating in the post-season with a 89.6.
Now he only played 1 game, but so did 6 other qb's.
He had the 2nd best comp% with a 65.3, 2nd only to David Carr with a 68.3.
But unlike David Carr who only had a 6.3 ypa, Romo had a 8.6 ypa which LED the league.
Tony Romo is 2nd in the NFL with a 5.39% TD Ratio/100. Meaning he throws 5.39 TD's every 100 attempts. Trailing only Donovan McNabb with a 5.69%
Tony Romo avg. 290.3 ypg, which LED the league. 2nd was Drew Brees with 276.1 ypg.
Now his yards does take into account his 2 passes vs. Houston, and his second half vs. the Giants. If you take that into account, he avg's 276.4 ypg which still lead's the league.
One more stat......
Damon Huard - 1 fumble lost every 2 games
Carson Palmer - 1 fumble lost every 2.2 games
Tom Brady - 1 fumble lost every 4 games
JP Losman - 1 fumble lost every 2.2 games
Chad Pennington - 1 fumble lost every 4 games
Jake Delhomme - 1 fumble lost every 3.25 games
David Carr - 1 fumble lost every 2.2 games
Alex Smith - 1 fumble lost every 3.2 games
Rex Grossman - 1 fumble lost every 3.2 games
Brett Favre - 1 fumble lost every 3.2 games
Charlie frye - 1 fumble lost every 1.8 games
Tony Romo - 1 fumble lost every 3.5 games
So it's not like he lost the ball more than any other QB.
Anyways those were some interesting stats..........
Those are some pretty damn good stats. and one HELL of a season.
Just think next year he wont have to hold, so it's not possible to have that happen again.
