Romo just moved in to the 100 club Sunday. 100.5 rating tied for second in the NFC. Since week one he has steadily gotten better and better. There's no reason to believe his rating won't continue to climb with the running game being as good as it is.

For someone who was supposedly "washed up" on week one, he may be having his beast season yet.

So glad all the Manzstans didn't get their wish. I love Zack Martin and Tony Romo!

I was thinking of starting a thread about whether Romo could get into the MVP race. Murray has been great and no disrespect to him, but those rushing yards don't mean much if we can't convert third downs, which we are doing better than anyone. Admittedly Romo's numbers will not be gaudy enough probably, but in terms of the quarterback rating since the 49er game Romo is playing like an MVP.

I think Murray would get consideration first.

They still take shots at Romo in the national media - even in wins they show highlights of near interceptions and say lucky Romo. Of course they never show the near INTs every other winning QB throws once or twice a game.

IMHO the Oline is our most valuable asset.

He has too much baggage. He would need to have an extraordinary season to get MVP. Not saying I agree with it, but its reality.

Romo probably won't get into the MVP race this year because for Dallas to continue what they're doing they're going to be a very physical, run dominate, team which means Murray is going to be your MVP canidate from this team. As he should be.

But for those people who actually pay attention to QB play we already knew Romo was damned good and as good as pretty much anyone in the league. Some people are just now finally coming around to realising that or they're avoiding the forums/Romo topics all together cause their poor little egos can't face the fact that they were never right about Romo in the first place.

I agree about Oline. That has been critical. Romo if he keeps on this pace will put together a very nice year. He is more of an MVP IMO than Murray if you look at replaceability. There are a handful of guys in the whole league that could replace Romo. Murray is very good but there are a number of guys who could do what he does behind this line.

What was his rating in the game last night. I'll bet it is the highest rating for a visiting QB in Seattle over the last 3 years.

This is what a real balanced team should look like. Tony can be as good as any qb. in the league.

I was always defending Romo in the early years and then last year I stopped and got so frustarted i started criticising him and was ready to move on. And after the first game this year i was thinking more and more that he couldnt get it done. Glad he proved me wrong.

There are so much better highlights that they could have shown. Yet they pick those that are a disservice to the Cowboys and tries to undermine their victory as nothing more than luck.
