I was thinking of starting a thread about whether Romo could get into the MVP race. Murray has been great and no disrespect to him, but those rushing yards don't mean much if we can't convert third downs, which we are doing better than anyone. Admittedly Romo's numbers will not be gaudy enough probably, but in terms of the quarterback rating since the 49er game Romo is playing like an MVP.

Romo could definitely legitimately be in the MVP race if he keeps playing smart and improves as the season goes on, which he has so far. But right now, Murray's definitely ahead of him in any MVP talks. Dude is literally making history right now at the RB position.

I like that his yards are down, yards mean nothing. Taking your team down the field anytime you want, means championships. And right now, he's playing top-end football.

Romo just moved in to the 100 club Sunday. 100.5 rating tied for second in the NFC. Since week one he has steadily gotten better and better. There's no reason to believe his rating won't continue to climb with the running game being as good as it is.

Yep...the Cowboys Passer Rating Differential is getting wider...one had to wonder if the defense could do its part...so far they have.

The silence has been deafening today from all of the pundit Russell Wilson lovers. :D

I understand the point ur making. Sometimes the media guys go crazy jumping on one guy with so much love and hype. Wilson has been that guy for a little while.

To be honest though, i do like Russell Wilson and think he is a very talented player.

And just like the hype at times has been overboard, I also think the refusal to acknowledge that he does more than handoff to lynch and play behind a great defense is equally wrong.

He is a good player on a good team. But neither he or his team were good enough This week. :D

Murray is more important to Tony Romo than other way around. Murray is MVP of the league right now but it all goes back to committing resources to OL for past 3 off-season.

So does this qualify as a "spotlight" game KJJ? Since we won, I doubt it. I heard that the crow is delicious. Dig in! :D

You know - I was going to start a thread on it and I thought the Mods probably frown on it but here's the thing. I am not calling out KJJ, he's smart and a good poster and has defended his point of view and I know he's a longtime fan. I don't want to speak for him, I want him to defend himself but I think his criteria is---

It has to be a big game - check
It has to be on national television - check
The Cowboys need an important drive with under five minutes to go to win it - check

I think it qualifies as a spotlight game but I hope he comes in and let's us know.
