Someone else will come in and run through the same holes he did. We just have to hope our new guy can convert on 3rd and 1.
And turn the small holes that usually are closed by three yards stretched to five.

That was Murray's strength IMO. He was falling forward, fighting, getting a yard or two. Not certain any of the top two backs on the roster can do that. In fact, a lot of backs do not do that.

Taking what is given is one thing, taking that and stealing another yard or two on each carry is another. It adds up, frustrates and tires a defense and makes a 3rd and 5 passing down into a 3rd and 3 which opens up options.

People complain Murray "left yards on the field" because he did not bust his runs to the house as much as they wanted. Smaller fast backs leave yards on the field because they go down and even backwards on first contact.

He was good at getting the tough yards.. I'll give him that. Everything else can be replaced on the field imo.

The Oline was the star of that team. Not Demarco Murray.

I still get pissed when I see that picture of a huge lane that puts us in the NFC Championship and he lets Peppers 1 arm strip him. Demarco was a fumbler and will continue to be if he holds the ball like he does.

Why don't we just put our play on the jumbo tron while we are at it. You don't think the other team is going to notice this also?

You're being silly now.
How many times have you heard the statement, "We knew what they were going to do and STILL couldn't stop it"?
Knowing what the play is and stopping it are two separate issues. Emmitt Smith knows this all too well.

Second, as I stated before, if the defense knows that RW is going to run the ball, we have an element of surprise. They're likely not going to be blitzing, and we still have the option of calling a safe pass play that doesn't expose RW to blitzers.

It's really not that complicated.
