I have not bought a Tool CD in a long time but I really loved the Anemia (sp?) cd.

I dont have that one. But 10,000 days is really good. "Viacrious" is great, the song 10,000 days is a long continuous jam, "The Pot" has some absolutely great bass play if you like that, and "right in two" is just an all around great song.

also there is a really long track where a guy is being interviewed at a hospital by a doctor and he's relaying his details of an alien abduction. pretty cool.

I've seen them in concert and they put on a great show. Maynard was dressed in some all black leather gimp suit the whole time and the sound was increadible.

Ive seen them twice this year & 7 times total. I guess that make me a fan. Ive been warped on tool for more than 10 years. If you are just beginning to listen to them go get all them NOW. If you think 10,000 Days is magical listen to the Lateralus CD straight through with headphones.

I'm a late comer to Tool fandom. But I'm glad I finally made it.

The bery first time I heard their song "Sober", was also the first time I saw the video for it. It blew my mind!

WAR TOOL!

yea, ive only recently got into tool. I intend on checking out the other albums.

Ive got a light and sound machine, you know, the kind that has glasses thatflash lights repeatedly along with beats to induce different brain rhythms. well the one i have allows you to hook it up and set it to a cd so that all the hypnotic stuff goes along with the music you listen too.

There was one called the Orion, i used it once with tibeten drum circle and it was one of the most intense experiences ive had. I went to purchase one for myself but they were off the market and i ended up getting one called the inner pulse, not nearly the same light effect  but it still induces some very relaxed and deeply mediatative experiences. I have to try the inner pulse with some tool and see how that works.

I love Opiate, Undertow, and Aenima. I couldn't really get into Lateralus and I've yet to check out 10,000 Days. I don't listen to them as frequently as I used to, but every once in a while I'll throw on 'Cold and Ugly' or 'Third Eye' and relive the anger of my youth.
