just watched Top 10 most feared tacklers on NFL network.

their list

10. john lynch
9. steve atwater
8. jack lambert
7. ray lewis
6. jack tatum
5. hardy brown
4. ronnie lott
3. lawrence taylor
2. dick " night train " lane

and at Numero uno .......Dick Butkus

interesting show, left a lot of good ones off the list but did mention most of the big hitters.

yeah its a good list, as with any list there are a few names that you
could argue should have been on there.

most of those names did get mentioned, rodney harrison, roy williams,
mike singletary, mike curtis......to name a few.

it was a good show....now they are listing top 10 tight ends.
not as much fun to watch.

A couple of guys I thought should have made the list were:

Ed Sprinkle - Played for the Bears back in the day, was easily the most feared player in an era when killer hits were the norm.
Roy Williams - over Lynch any day. He built his entire reputation on making killer hits.
Dennis Smith - He & Atwater were a force for the Broncos!

I don't think Taylor should be that high either, he was a feared pass rusher but was actually not known as a big hitter.

I would have liked to see Earl Cambell play defense.

No Romo? If I were playing he would scare me....cause I would be afraid that he would go into a roid rage, snap, and try to end my career.
