This is an insider article, here's the link for those who are Insider's. For those that aren't, I'll just post the Cowboys related part of the article. http://insider.espn.go.com/nfl/stor...ex_cid=InsiderTwitter_Yates_Offensivematchups

9. Tyron Smith, LT, Dallas Cowboys

It takes a certain type of offensive lineman to even be considered for this list, but Smith is rare. As one NFC defensive coach said, "He's a freak athlete, and strong. He has great recovery and a great punch." Smith stands 6-5 and 318 pounds, and has the athleticism to neutralize speed/quickness rushers and the strength to hold up against power rushers. What's perhaps scariest about Smith? He's just 23 and will start his fourth NFL season in 2014.

Additionally, this aides greatly in positional developments working out and going under cap.

Smith was definitely born on another planet, there's no way he's from Earth. I also have my doubts about Dez, both are just physical monsters.

I legit do not understand your writing style.

It's as if I'm always reading a post while near blackout drunk.

Don't understand a fluid style that uses subtlety...read word to word and grasp the meaning of a word that adds to a sequenced progression.

Early man, existed on a grunt and growl. Then developed language...now, a slightly arched eye brow and set chin means a come on...
just a style of expression, but it's not always used or pursued. It adds variety to a site that often uses brutal expressions and rudeness strictly for affect upon a listener...and thus, a parody of sorts.

1. Calvin Johnson.
2. Jimmy Graham.
3. Adrian Peterson.
4. Percy Harvin.
5. Brandon Marshall.
6. Cam Newton.
7. C.J. Spiller.
8. Rob Gronkowski.
9. Tyron Smith.
10. Charles Clay.

Pretty amazing to see an OL on that list.

If anybody can justify Dallas passing over J.J. Watt in the first round in 2011, it's Tyron Smith. Watt would have helped the defense, but where would the o-line be today without Smith?

Doug Free would be our starting LT.

Yes, he would be, and remember there were many people last year hoping the Cowboys would cut Free after his awful 2011 and 2012 seasons (albeit at right tackle.) I feel a whole lot better having Smith protect Romo's blindside over Free. Nothing against Free, just my opinion.

There's no doubt that Smith is an elite LT, but Doug Free was damn good at LT for the second half of 2010 (pretty sure that was the year).

You are right, he was darn good the whole 2010 season, when he took over for the released Flozell Adams. In 2011, Free was just okay at LT, and Smith was the RT as a rookie in 2011.

I feel like Free was overrated as an LT. He had a block down-field that got everyone exited (and got him paid), but i think he was still mediocre
