Yeah they're pretty confident up here. I've been trying to lighten the incoming blow for 'em..."You know, guys, you should just be prepared for the possibility that you'll lose." LOL

I think some of the over confidence of GB fans is smoke and mirrors...I think secretly they are very worried about this game...It's just that traditionally, GB fans see Dallas as an out of division rival, much more so than Dallas fans see GB as a rival. I think thats one of the reasons for all the boasting leading up to the game.

Due to the NFL Network/Cable shananagans, I'll be heading out to a local sports bar to watch the game...I'd rather throw them my money in drinks than either of those greedy companies...It'll be daunting though. I already know I'll be totally outnumbered there. I might even be the quietest Cowboys fan in America tomorrow, surrounded by drunken cheeseheads. :D

But if you guys couldnt stop Stallworth and Welker, how can you stop Jennings, Robinson, Jones, and Martin.

Pressure on the QB. We can bring a strong rush and Favre will feel it...

NE benefitted from a superior offensive line, and this was before Tank Johnson was playing. Also, we were out Henry, our 2nd best CB besides Newman. All and all the Pack will face a markedly stronger defensive unit than what Dallas fielded against NE, IMO.

Receivers do not play in a vacuum. Their production is affected by every other unit on the offense.

Tom Brady > Brett Favre
Pats O-line > Green Bay O-line

Furthermore, the Packers lack a receiver with the talent even approaching that of Randy Moss, and the Cowboys were without Anthony Henry when they played New England.

If you couldn't stop Brian Griese how are you going to stop Tony Romo?
Griese was only 15/25 for 216. 2 TDs and 1 pick. The only reason the Pack lost was because Jones fumbled twice in the first 3 drives that would have been points. 1 of the fumbles ended up as points. Also the refs stole our TO that we need to throw a TD. None of the bears recievers had more than 1 catch BTW.

according the to fishwrap writers and sports radio guys up here in Green Bay.

This game can't get here soon enough for me so these idiots will shut up.

I've compiled the top 10 reasons the writers and radio guys have said over the last 5 days why the Packers will win.

10. Dallas hasn't played anyone and their record is inflated.
9. Favre beat KC @ KC and Denver @ Denver for the first time. Dallas is next.
8. Romo is a flash in the pan and very lucky.
7. Dallas is over-confident
6. They just have a "feeling" the Packers will win.
5. McCarthy will out coach WP. WP can't win big games.
4. Position by position - Green Bay is better than the Cowboys except at the TE position.
3. Dallas has yet to play this tough of a defense.
2. Harris will shutdown TO and Dallas will have to rely on an overrated running game.

:lmao2:

If that's a serious question, you really need to get out more.

and the #1 reason the Packers will win (and I am not making this up)

#1. Romo will be starstruck and jelly-kneed when he looks across the field to see his boyhood idol staring him down.

:laugh2:
I love it when they say things like this so basically the Cowboys, are the underdogs in this game don't look now but the Cowboys, should forfeit this game and give to Green Bay, they don't belong on the same field:rolleyes:.

Who?

Koren Robinson? Gimme a break. Talk about reaches.

I would take Hurd or Austin over any of those 3.

#1 Ridiculous comment

#3 That's comical. Your offense couldn't get a TD against the Eagles and could only come up with one offensive TD against the Skins, whereas we put 38 and 28 against those two teams.

#7 Oh please, provide a link or anything that shows the Cowboys are being overconfident.

#10 So in your opinion, Patriots are nobody right?
Just to think that the Pats, would've done to Green Bay, what they done to Dallas.

If this list is accurate, I have a VERY difficult time believing that the media heads in Milwaukee are giving the Harris/Owens advantage to Harris. Please. I am not in love with Owens, but I double...no, TRIPLE...dare Al Harris to play him aggressively in bump and run coverage. If that happens, it's advantage Owens based on the way he is playing lately.
If that is their plan of manning up T.O., then Romo, is going to carve up that secondary to WRs not named Owens, and the TE, not named Witten but I also know Witten, will get his touches too.

If that is their strategy for tomorrow night's game then good luck with that.

Name me any cornerback tadem in the NFL, who could stop Wes Welker, and Donte Stallworth with the addition of Randy Moss name me one.

Please tell me Harris, and Woodson so I could get a huge laugh out of it all in all though this should be an exciting game regardless of your trash talking.

He will say Bly and Baily... which is also laughable, since they have been getting beat up and down the field.

Ah, they're just grasping at straws because they know we're the real deal and they're scared we'll win. A Cowboys win would burst their bubble that Favre is the more superior QB since he's been in the league for so long and Romo hasn't. To me, it makes no difference. A great QB is a great QB no matter how long they've played professionally. Romo has a natural gift.

#10 is awesome.

They might want to rethink that, and stare at their own schedule and get back to us. Damon huard, kelly holcomb, vinny testaverde, Brian griese, phillip rivers....not exactly guys at the top of their game.

Just got home from work and I need to add another one to the list that I heard on the drive home.

I guy called in and said he has a buddy in the Dallas area, and his buddy told him that he has an "inside source" telling him that the coaching staff is totally looking past Green Bay and all they are talking about is playing NE in the Super Bowl. Of course the tool radio host that got canned from his newspaper sports editor job ate that up.

Looking past Green Bay........thats a good one

FO's ranks for defensive efficiency against different types of receivers.

#1 receiver
GB - 18th
Dal - 7th

#2 receiver
GB - 16th
Dal - 3rd

Other receiver
GB - 29th
Dal - 14th

Our corners are performing better than theirs by a pretty significant margin.
thanks, i was wondering when someone would post this...i really like the FO model because it measures play by play consistency of performance over time...not all this yardage crap...Dallas does rank behind GB against the TE but maybe the new Hamlin high package can improve this area...we'll see soon enough though...

not that statistics guarantee anything, Dallas leads GB in all but the special teams category in DVOA against an albeit slightly tougher schedule...and more importantly, their net points per drive is higher...i like the Aikman and Sagarin ratings also...i've been looking for Breer's index but can't seem to find it...i think coldhardfacts.com is a joke...
