I firmly believe our defense is going to get better as the season goes on. First, we still have many young pups on defense that should improve w/ experience. Plus, I think Parcells is gonna bring more pressure as he gets more comfortable w/ what he has on defense.
I also think our offense will improve w/ TO getting more comfortable and as our OL starts to get more comfortable. If we can get some leads, I think we are gonna go after the QB more and get some turnovers.

It should. Hopefully it has more to do with our play than the poor play of the Titans. I tend to wait a bit before looking at those numbers. I always break it down into qrts. 1st 4 games, the half way point 8 game, 3rd of the way 12 games then the final numbers. Thus far I have seen good and bad with this team but still very hopeful that we will continue to improve as the season goes on.

Me thinks we keep it fairly simple this week, then open up that can on the shelf the following week.

I've heard this kind of comment before and frankly I find it pretty goofy.

This defense was built to stop opposing offenses - not just the Eagles.

Sure 2 years ago the Eagles offense was the top in the NFC East and one of the top in the entire NFC, but to suggest that we would risk having difficulty with other teams so we could specifically match up with the Eagles is off base - espcially considering that Parcells was well aware that it would take a few years to get his defense up to full speed and the Eagles situation could have changed in the meantime.

It's also off base to suggest we will keep our defensive capabilities under wraps agains other opponents just so we can surprise the Eagles - we aren't going to risk losing games just tp surprise a single opponent that we play twice out of 16 games.

You are right. The Commanders defense is actually better cause they have played the hard games, like the Texans.

Averge per game. Dallas also 5th in 3rd down defense. But this is only 2 games for Dallas will have to see how this continues.
