Thinking back since parcells has taken over, in your opinion...who were the top 5 worst corners we had since this guys took over our team?

lol im bored, and would like to see your opinions, list them in order

1)Derek Ross(didn't parcells publicly diss him and say "he looks like a dog chasing a car"? lol, and then got cut in the middle of the season)

2)Jacques Reeves-hate this guy :bang2: j/p

3)Bruce Thorton

4)Pete Hunter

5)Lance Frazier

I'd say that Thornton was worse than Ross because he couldn't make the team and couldn't stay in the NFL based on talent. Ross had a promising rookie year and had the talent to be a top notch cornerback in this league, but was such a headcase that Parcells figured it was better to get rid of him than to keep dealing with him. He then was immediately picked up by the Vikings and played, but because he was such head case he got benched and was out of the NFL.

I'd put Reeves further down on the list as well. He was decent for a rookie in 2004, played well in 2005 and was buried behind the depth chart in 2006. In 2007 he was better than given credit for, although still a mediocre CB. Still, that's better than a lot of those guys on the list.

Just corner or corners that Parcells brought to the team? Ross and Hunter were already on the squad when Parcells became coach. Neither were bad players.

They were decent corners for the roles that they had. Ross could have been a decent #2, but he was a good #3. Better than Reeves, plus he could return kicks. Hunter was a decent #3(again better than Reeves), but he should have been open to playing safety. He was good at special teams. Ross was just a knucklehead. That will bring any player down.

Another guy who was just okay was Mario Edwards.

Lance Frazier was never that bad.

Im surprised he didn't make it in this league because his play would be AVG for a 3rd or 4th corner.

Mario Edwards was good until the refs turned on him and everytime the ball was in the air the refs wanted to call pass interference on him.

He could hit too.

Ross was a nice player. A head case but a nice player. Wasn't it the Lions that pick him up and not the Vikes? Either way, I think we were all a bit excited by the plays he made his rookie year.

I think Parcells didn't like him because he had a case of the "Deangelo Halls".

He played like a street player and went for the 1st thing he saw to much.

Plus he was a headcase.

I'll never figure out why these guys get these million dollar jobs and are stupid enough to be idiots off the field and lose their job.

I believe it's a toss up between Ross and Thorton... Both had good college careers but never lived up to their potential.

Donald Mitchel (never played in the regular season I think)

The backups during BP's tenure pretty much were Nate Jones, Jackes Reeves and Aaron Glenn with Henry & Newman starting.
