Top 5 QBs since 2006
Vince Young
JaMarcus Russell
Matt Ryan
Matthew Stafford
Mark Sanchez
Sam Bradford
Cam Newton
Andrew Luck
Robert Griffin III
Blake Bortles
Jameis Wiinston
Marcus Mariotta

Even the busts outside of maybe Russell started a couple years at least. But Ryan, Stafford. Newton, Luc are all top QBs in the game. It's still too early to tell for the bottom 3. Bortles to me wasn't a top QB in that draft and he's been mostly pedestrian as a starter. Even Mark Sanchez took teams to AFC Title games as a starter. Bradford, Young, and Griffin were all pretty average. None of them close to Russell bad. But most of the QBs drafted are still on a roster and most are still starters as of now.

I hope the next QB we draft is so 'pedestrian' he throws for 4400 yards and 35 TDs in his 2nd season at age 23.

Maybe he's better than I thought, but I've never been impressed by him in any game I've seen. But I've not watched a ton of him. Only like 8 wins in 2 seasons for him so fairly mediocre so far.

Quarterbacks don't bust anymore than any other position. They're actually right in the middle of the pack.

They are all looking for "that" QB. The one that makes them good and relevant and pushing for/winning the SB for the next 10-15 years. So they draft one, and give him a shot for a few years.....trying to "Hit". I think Carolina hit, maybe even the Bucs, Raiders, and I think Bortles will pan out....

Luck was a "sure thing" but you never really have that in the NFL.....
